This thread is really living up to its title and is beyond logic with respect to the randomness of posts. That reminds me, gotta get around to registering a complaint about Resident Evil 4 PS2 version on http://www.gamerankings.com. Shall do it by the end of this week.

After nearly a decade of being denied online gaming while the service has been available, we'll finally get the chance to play a multitude of games online on a Nintendo HOME CONSOLE (PORTABLES EXCLUDED).

All a lot of users here have been doing lately [myself included] is complaining about the quality of Nintendo games as of late, especially after the release of Twilight Princess. Could this really lead to us ditchin' the Nintendo bandwagon and going accross to other systems permanently? Could this be the generation Nintendo loses a record number of long time fans as a result of an inavoidable trade off of trying to appeal too much to non gamers while ignoring the traditional gamers? Could this really be Nintendos last generation in the console market?

Games can be compared because they are games. What game was more defining and more fulfilling to complete, what game made a greater contribution to the series etc.

I think Wind Waker is a rather childish and underwhelming game with a serious lack of dungeons (which they tried to compensate for with the FETCH QUEST Triforce Hunt) and HUGE land masses other than the sea which was almost completely bare although the game did feature some new unique additions and had some originality about it. But obviously judging by my list, I had greater disappointment in Twilight Princess with the expectations I had of the game... They are both dead even on average ratio on http://www.gamerankings.com, but Wind Waker has a lot more reviews, so I suspect another review less than 9.7/10 being added and it'll drop below 94.7% (Twilight Princess that is).

Launch day for me WITHOUT a preorder. Just like people go to shopping centres and park real close to the entrance because they can't be bothered walking a few extra steps, they can't be bothered exerting a little extra effort to get a Wii console. I did and was rewarded because of it.

Hopefully you are right. But primarly I want to see ULTIMATE control, showing the true capabilities of the Wii remote making Red Steel look like a rushed tech demo in comparison.

The problem is based on two things. Firstly, price (in that its often too expensive) and secondly music companies not providing customers with what they really want. Always on cds, there are ommissions of KEY songs just about every time, people have no option but to resort to piracy. For example, say you buy an 80s compilation disc, they always have the usual well known songs, but there are perhaps lesser well known songs you're after but they aren't featured on just about any cd. You don't want to be spending hundreds of dollars just to get all the songs you want.

Will this issue ever be resolved?

They should. I have a german version of Doshin The Giant on GC and its in English.

How would Zelda fare as a first person & third person shooter/slasher action adventure rpg style game with extreme gore?

The original Final Fantasy on Nintendo Entertainment System that never saw a release in PAL regions. One of the only Final Fantasy games in the series to have Nintendo console exclusivity.

We live in an INFERIOR society. Hence Wii being inferior as is the whole entertainment industry (Including Xbox360 and Playstation 3). They are all inferior systems. They can release so much better than what were getting, but if they do, what can they release next, having the perfect product and then an attempted successor that tries to surpass its predecessor will lead to one result, DECLINE. The whole entertainment industry as a whole is INFERIOR though. Worst era of music on record, atrocious music if thats even what it is, movie quality heavily declining and the same for video games. Of course there are exceptions but generally the standard being set is mediocrity is good.

The answer why for VC games they're not being released in large quantities is that its a reject service that needs some form of drawcard to keep it alive, in this case slow release of games.
