  1. I've mentioned this about three times but I'll mention again, I want to see the following things in this Smash Bros Game: 50 arenas to choose, only 5 arenas to be borrowed from previous games at maximum equating to 10%, 40 selectable characters [WITH NO CLONES!!!!] with the list I posted above with Cubes revisions, 1000 trophies, 100 event matches, expanded target test, home run contest and mult man melee modes, new moves, new items, more modes, more options, more stats, ONLINE FUNCTIONALITY TO THE MAX, just beefing up with every single aspect of Melee but better so that the game surpasses it predecessor in just about every way, they've already lost a few marks with the Fox design though...
  2. Its a relatively new Poll, so it might increase in votes within the next few hours.
  3. VERY concerning POLL results on gamefaqs.com just in. Nintendos lack of advertising has already had a significant toll on Wiis overall success. Have you played the Wii yet? Vote Accepted Bought it, played it, love it 19.57% 3638 Yes, and I really want one now 11.33% 2106 Yes, but I'm not sold on it yet 3.02% 562 Yes, and I definitely don't want one 2.91% 542 No, I still haven't tried it yet 63.17% 11746 TOTAL VOTES 18594
  4. Anyones thats playing the game as we speak. Give us an answer once and for all without spoilers of course, is this game really too easy as A LOT of people have been saying winning the game in under 30 hours?
  5. Some encouraging Poll results from gamefaqs.com: Now that they're out, who do you think will win the console war? Vote Accepted It'll practically be a tie, with no clear winner 12.52% 12507 Microsoft, the 360's lead is insurmountable 12.96% 12947 Nintendo, the Wii's popularity will grow like wild 50.66% 50597 Sony, the PS3 will build up speed next year 20.93% 20902 Nobody, all three consoles will die out next year 2.93% 2922 TOTAL VOTES 99875
  6. FINALLY GOT THAT LAST BANANA TODAY, now officially completed the game 100%.
  7. The Legend Of Zelda Twilight Princess: 97% <-- Good, needs these sort of scores, 9.5 is too low now, with the average ratio being at such dangerous levels. Wii Sports: 90% <-- This is obviously way too high, but even if it got 1%, wouldn't change anything... Red Steel: 91% <-- Probably due to the fact that "realistic" FPS games are almost non existant on Nintendo consoles up till now. Wii Play: 91% <-- Again, way too high, maybe they just liked the fact they saved some money. Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz: 81% <-- Consistent with other scores. Tony Hawks Downhill Jam: 85% <-- This game seems like a skateboarding version of "Snowboard Kids" on N64 to me.
  8. I'd consider a purchase subject to, you guessed it, review scores. But i'd want the ability to control individuals, go into carrages and look at what activity is taking place in each individual carrage, whether it'd be sexual activity with or without consent [rape] men and women, gays lesbians also, criminal activity with gimmie the f****n money now guys with arrests following if you take immediate action, some people having dinner, shower/grooming, watching tv, general socialising, busking, have a look at the driver, see the activities that go into the operation of a train, deliberate derailment of the train and you get to visit each individual station and its grand features, each having a distinctive toilet.
  9. Thanksgivings festivities taking place in the United States this weekend, theres gonna be a drought of Wii related news and reviews as the major games sites are American. Looks like there'll be little to no changes in the average ratio for Twilight Princess for at least 100 hours.
  10. The ban from the Zelda thread has provided me with an advantage, that by default, I'm not able to view the spoilers even if temptation gets the better of me.
  11. They can mend this crack with more sales and customer satisfaction via decent games, competitive prices etc.
  12. NES: Super Mario Bros SNES: The Legend Of Zelda: A Link To The Past N64: The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time Gamecube: Metroid Prime Wii: Twilight Princess [subject to final ratio]
  13. Nintendo need to realise that these cables are very important for anyone that has a HD TV and they need to have adequate supply to meet the large amount of demand for these cables.
  14. NAME: GameCube 1.5
  15. PAL GETS PLASTIC CASE!!!??? :bouncy: :bouncy: :bouncy: :bouncy: :bouncy: :bouncy: This has made me very happy if true... But does it apply to all PAL regions, United Kingdom, All Countries In Europe, Australia and New Zealand?
  16. Other possible candidates: Shaq Fu BMX XXX Driv3r The Guy Game
  17. 0/10. Nothing, no rating.
  18. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fortunately its not an editorial review so it won't be appearing on gamerankings.com. Otherwise I might've just had a nervous breakdown...
  19. Its getting into dangerously low territory now, but there are still stacks of reviews to come...
  20. I don't have a high definition television in my room, nor have I played consoles other than Nintendo systems very often, i've only played PS2 3 times in my entire life, the controller is just too damn weird, so i'm impressed pretty easily graphics wise, but very tight on gameplay and especially particular about review scores.
  21. I'll have no interruptions at all, all to myself.
  22. The only thing thats majorly bothering me about previews, I actually think i'll like the control scheme, and the sounds and even appreciate the graphics, but I don't like what i'm hearing about this game being too easy but i've heard it is more difficult than Wind Waker and hopefully that is a reality.
  23. Another individual criticising Twilight Princess: I Beat Zelda: Twilight Princess - Thoughts From the Other Side While everyone was busy camping out for a Wii this weekend, I was staying up and finishing Twilight Princess. Now that I've finished it, the least I can do is tell you what I thought, whether it's worth your time, and how it stacks up to previous Zelda games. No spoilers included. First, the length. I won't say exactly how many dungeons it has, but it's on par with just about all Zelda games (including old ones). When I finished, my save game clocked in at just about 50 hours, which is a bit short of the 70 hours Nintendo claimed to Mark Wilson. Granted, you can spend a lot of time searching for all the heart pieces, and thus rack up 70~100 hours of play. After finishing, I could say I still wished for more dungeons to explore and more things to do, but that's the case of every Zelda game. Next, the controls. Mark had minor issues with controlling Link, and I agree for the most part. The Wiimote did feel added on late in the development cycle, so it wasn't as natural as it could have been. Trying to do some of the secret moves resulted in me waving either the Nunchuk or the Wiimote frantically as Link was finishing his previous action. The control scheme definitely won't get in the way, but it's not a joy to play either. Example: the hidden Shield Attack works by using the Nunchuk, but half the time I was trying to do that I ended up doing a spin attack instead. You'll notice various other quirks, but I don't want to spoil anything. The difficulty level of Twilight Princess is much lower than in previous Zelda games. Maybe they wanted to ease new players into the Wii control scheme, or maybe games really have gotten less twitchy and more puzzle-oriented. Even if you're no good at fighting, you'll still manage to get through the game just fine without dying too many times. If you're decent at the controls, you'll breeze through. Graphics weren't Xbox 360/PS3 level by any means, but still looked great enough to impress me many times. The sound, however, was a mixed bag. On the one hand I really loved hearing all the old Zelda themes pop up all over the place, but on the other hand they really should have dumped the synth music and went to an orchestral score. It didn't take anything away from the gameplay, but that's the thing that would have made it awesome. Things I disliked: fishing and the Wiimote sounds. They tailored fishing to the Wiimote, but honestly, it was hooooooorrible. There are a few places where fishing is mandatory to advance the plot, and I wasted too much time figuring out what to do—the manual was zero help—that I wish they would have just taken out the fishing entirely, or made it optional. Again, just my own opinion. The sounds from the Wiimote were fine at first, but they really put too much audio through that tinny, tiny speaker. Toning this down just a tad would have gone a long way. Of course, all this is my own take on the game and you'll come up with yours as you play through Wind Waker for the Gameboy DS Twilight Princess (I'm Wii-todded). I'd give the entire experience an A-, despite any control problems and the issues faced. It's definitely a Zelda game, and if you like previous games in the series you'll dig this one. Jason Chen Update: What I meant by the Wiimote was that it was too much audio, not too loud. I turned it down to 2 bars (perfect in a relatively quiet living room), but the quality of the speaker wasn't great. It's neat that you get the "puzzle solved" sound coming from the Wiimote—along with sword slashes, Midna giggling, and tons of other sounds—but I'd rather it come from the screen because the Wiimote speaker quality is poor and they used it too often.
  24. THAT METALLIC FISH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How do you earn that Banana, I can't get it, its almost as if my version of the game is flawed, I shoot the maximum amount I can, and then it restricts from shooting until the fans stop and then you can only hit the flashing bits with one peanut once, and by default with the spinning motions and the amount of time used up, I can never get it. Its the only banana in the game I haven't gotten.
  25. It really depends on the search criteria and the number of reviews you select for the site. With 20 reviews minimum, this game ends up being the worst: http://www.gamerankings.com/htmlpages2/542019.asp But i'd have to agree the game you listed above is a really bad game.
