Great to see some love for Kung Fu - now we must storm Miiverse!!!!! I remember my cousin had it and I used to play it every time we visited. Never made it past level 2 tho!

Isn't that the current 'must play' game for the Wii U (sorry couldn't resist, and for the record I do love my Wii U :p:grin:)

I agree with this, if the titles build up quickly then this may not be as bad as the reaction it's getting would have you believe. If however we get to the lows of getting 1 game a week if we were lucky again like with the Wii we will probably wind up with the same titles available as the Wii has today (plus Earthbound of course). I will agree that the US launch list is quite poor (to put it mildly), especially with half the games being part of the 30p promotion, that said I can see that releasing everything in one go would mean that there will be games that get buried by the obvious high profile names - remember Nintendo are probably hoping to reach people that didn't pay attention to the Wii's VC service as well and are probably more likely to attract people to games by remarketing them as weekly downloads than just waiting for people to stumble upon them while browsing. I will NEVER tire of playing Excitebike, too much of my childhood is wrapped up in that game. I wish they'd release Kung Fu to download too but I'm probably the only one in the world who would consider that a day 1 purchase lol.

Go to the basement of the police station and you can buy unlocked disguises from Ellie, you can then swap between disguises in changing booths like the one you build when you first get the police uniform.

Don't be intimidated by it, the game is vast but much of the content is optional side quests, you always have the option of pushing the story along if you feel you are sinking too much time in, although it really is a game worth sinking hundreds of hours into as the game world is a joy to explore.

I'm continuously tempted to replay this game, I have to say it ranks as one of my favourites of all time, but just the sheer scale of it puts me off when I have so many games I haven't finished or even still haven't started. One day though, and on that playthrough I will be aiming for 100%!

Shopto dispatched today so hopefully will arrive tomorrow, typically when I'm only going to be home from work for just enough time to grab dinner before going out again! But should be able to spend some time getting to grips with it Thursday and then might jump online at the weekend!

Ordered this from Shopto last night, gonna have to stretch my budget a tiny bit further for the rest of the month but wanted to show support for it given EA's less than enthusiastic attitude towards Wii U. For anyone who played Need For Speed Hot Pursuit on 360/PS3 how does the car handling compare?

In all honesty I've been too busy playing it to talk about it. This is one of those games that induces the "just one more mission..." effect, and that's when you don't get distracted looking for hidden stuff.

A looong time ago I got Smash Bros Melee from it, but since then I think I've only ever redeemed stars against Wii point cards, however with the imminent launch of the Wii U VC service I'm now reluctant to even do that. Hopefully they make eShop credit available instead....

I mostly find it frustrating hearing about the stuff Japan and America get in their equivalent schemes, whereas it seems that the updates to the EU stars catalogue are getting less and less desirable!

Yes the loading times are dreadful, hopefully something they can patch later as I'm having loads of fun with this!

So much want for this! Would love to see a remake of the Darkwing Duck NES game too .

Took the Wii U round my gf's last night and had a marathon session playing metroid blast with her and her brother. So much fun and her brother (ps3 owner) loved the console!

For some reason I have never managed to get into the Smash Bros games (the fact that I REALLY suck at them does not help lol). I'm just hoping this time around it finally clicks with me.

Am I the only one on here hoping that they don't reveal too much new stuff that I want? My backlog is big enough at the moment and that's not even including the stuff I know about but havn't bought/hasn't been released yet! Seriously tho, the one thing I would like to see announced is a new Zelda for the 3DS, and if that happens then the past week will have been the most win I've experienced in a long time after the Wii U launch was followed by getting Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask for free in the 3DS XL game giveaway that's currently going on!

Thanks for this, huge help, although the feature took an age to find in the menus of my Panasonic Viera TX-L37U2B. If anyone else has this (or another Panasonic TV, it may be the same) it can be found by hitting the Menu button on the remote then navigating to - Setup -> Other Settings -> 16:9 Overscan. Hope this helps some people avoid the lengthy google search I just went through!

Just to satisfy curiosity, if they had all been counted for the Trilogy, which game would have been promoted to 50th place?

Wii to Wii U system transfer, all I can say is wow, the animation for this is absolutely awesome!

Thought it might be something like that. The update just finished downloading (about 50 mins total time) and is installing now so I can finally play the thing :P

Slowly updating mine now (about 1/3 through so far). Question, has anyone registered any of their Club Nintendo points cards yet, if so how do you register the Wii U, the card with mine has no code on it and just says "Find out how to register your Wii U system at www.club-nintendo.com"

Mine is now waiting for me at home, well and trully hyped now, the next 1 1/2 hours are going to go so slow!
