The Love Guru Went in expecting this to be a pile of shit... ...and it was! Didn't laugh once through a truly awful film packed with unfunny penis jokes, seriously, Mike Myers should seek help - he's obsessed with male genitalia. Would have been passable if the bad guy was any good, like Ben Stiller in Dodgeball, but Justin Timberlake was especially bad I feel dirty, need to watch Dark Knight again 0/10

From the Movie News thread, I hear that a possible sequel to the god awful Simpsons Movie is in the pipeline. This show is probably 10 years past it's prime. It used to be a clever satire on life relying on it's razor sharp dialogue and now it's become...well as strange as this sounds, a cartoon - relying mainly on visual "gags" which aren't that funny (example, Homer being crushed between moving cogs) and guest stars which have no relevance to the story (see Steve Buscemi) Before anyone says anything, I know it's still better than a lot of stuff out there, and you can say "well don't watch the newer episodes" but it's a shame to see this once great show reduced to what it is now. I can't remember a recent episode where there wasn't any pointless special guest stars and anything that's even come close to "Last Exit To Springfield" or "Marge Vs The Monorail" I know most will disagree with me here, but the show should have gone out on a high and finished 8 years ago. But the almighty dollar is keeping this show on life support. Kill it off already! What do others think?

Journey to the Centre of the Earth 3D Don't have a 3D cinema near me so went to the other side of Manchester to watch it. Crap film - made better by the 3D which was amazing, but then made worse by the pillocks who felt it necessary to inform the whole cinema that "it was like we are there" 4/10

Do it! Do it now!! It's amazing. Couple of things stop it being on par with Zelda, but it's an awesome game. For me it would be Ico, but I never owned a PS2

I enjoyed Red Steel. I loved going through the game with the pistol or uzi as the machine gun and shotgun just didn't feel right (probably cause you'd have to grab them with both hands) The controls weren't a problem at the time, but now I've played MP3, they are a bit clunky. I've not played any other FPS on Wii, so I have no other basis for comparison. I don't like wartime shooters for some reason - I prefer ones that offer something a bit different like Half Life and The Conduit looks interesting. But I've finished Red Steel and haven't got the heart to pick up MP3 again. I'm about 20% through it and just can't be bothered with it now. I loved the first two, but just can't get into this one. So I probably enjoyed Red Steel more than MP3, though that may change when I do eventually get round to finishing it.

I think mine was Return of the Jedi in 1983-ish Was either that or I remember watching one of the Rocky films (either 3 or 4) If it were 3 then that would have been 1982. Slept since then.

Sunderland sign Diouf. What a pointless move. He said goodbye to us at the end of last season, expecting that loads of clubs would want him, which is fair enough. We didn't get a single bid for him and he had to humiliatingly come back to pre season training. Sunderland saw and seized the opportunity which is fair play on their part, but I really don't see the point of him joining another struggling Premier League club. He's only moved to save face.

One problem I had with the Two Face thing was that he spat diesel a few times and a bit went on the other side of his face, but why didn't that get burnt? Another strange thing was [spoiler=]instead of twatting all the SWAT guys, why didn't Batman just call Gordon on his mobile like he does earlier in the film to tell him that the clowns were actually hostages Bear in mind that these are very very small criticisms and the film still gets a 10 from me

The Godfather: Part II Not quite as good as the first, contrary to what others say, but still an absolute masterpiece. Still gets a 10/10
