FUCKING GORGEOUS!!!

whats the GITS: SAC SSS??

Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex: Solid State Society is the new GITS movie which is set two years after 2nd Gig.

The film has a production budget of 360 million yen (equivalent to US$3.2 million).

In order to provide theatrical quality, the OVA will premiere in Japan on the SKY Perfect satellite television network on September 1, 2006. The film will also be released on DVD in Japan on November 24, 2006. An international release is currently TBA.

The story takes place in 2034. It has been two years since Motoko Kusanagi left Section 9. Togusa is now the new leader of the team, which has considerably increased its appointed personnel. The expanded new Section 9 confronts a rash of complicated incidents, and investigations reveal that an ultra-wizard hacker named the Puppeteer is behind the entire series of events. The new event starts with 13 terrorists sharing a Sanskrit script tatoo. They take hostages in an airport, and commit serial suicides. Section 9 steps in to conduct a counter terrorism investigation, and succeed in cornering one terrorist whose last words before committing suicide confirm the existence of "super wizard" class hacker Kugutsu Mawashi (roughly translated as "Puppeteer", but different from Ningyo Tsukai of the first movie).

In the midst of everything, Batou encounters Motoko while investigating the case from a different angle. Before leaving, she warns him to "Stay away from the Solid State Society." Batou is left with doubt in his mind: could Motoko be the Puppeteer? The series of intriguing incidents that Section 9 faces gradually link together almost artistically. Who is the Puppeteer? What will happen to Batou's relationship with Motoko? What is the full truth behind this carefully planned perfect crime? And what will the outcome be? Mysteries surround the Solid State Society.

NOTE: While there is no definite translation yet available, the name "Puppet Master" was originally used by the Production I.G staff during their panel at Anime Expo 2006. However, Production IG's website now refers to the hacker as the "Puppeteer" and not the "Puppet Master". They go on to explain that "Puppeteer" is "a temporary translation" and "is not meant to be the official English adaptation".

Also announced at AX 2006 during the Production I.G panel was that Solid State Society is not scheduled to be the final iteration of the Stand Alone Complex series.

Naruto 197 RAW is out, the opening has changed and so has the ending (same music),to celebrate the 3rd movie but i'm pretty intrested in 197. Shikamaru + the genin, i hope this truns out to be an alright filler.

Another reason to belive a different studio is working on Naruto bscap009xf5.jpg

Naruto 197 Opening

Naruto 197 Ending

Just noticed this, check out Sakura's punch, i didn't think she was that powerfull yet.

Thanks for that I have only watched upto episode 46 (I think) of the english dubs but after watching that intro you just posted Im wondering....WHERE THE HELL IS SASKUE???

Did they take him out of the show or something???

Sakura's been that powerful for a while, go back through some of the fillers to see :P

@Hero-of-Time, I really wouldn't watch any intros or anything if you don't know what happened to Sasuke. Especially if you voice your concerns about him in caps, which suggests you're an Uchiha fanboy. You'll only see spoilers if you watch future OP/EN :heh:

g.i.t.s sac needs more bewbs.

No is he still in it, just not in that opening...

Really? I knew she was more powerfull but i hadn't noticed it been smashing through walls powerfull. Damn Tsuanade, Sakura would of been at awesome chakra moves instead of sheer strength.

Im not really bothered about the spoilers, just aslong as he is still in the show. Yes your right I do like the character of Sasuke even though every where I look he is hated. I love the broody, loner type characters. Why is he hated so much anyways?

He's only hated because he's loved by fanboys. People go nuts over the amazing Sasuke and often complained at every ep of Naruto that he didn't get enough of a part in. I think that dragged him down - and now he annoys people. It's like emo music or myspace. It seems like everyone hates them, but they're both hugely popular really.

If you really don't care about spoilers and want to know why he isn't in the OP with clips from the new movie:

Sasuke has gone off with Orochimaru for power - he's no longer in Konoha.

When she ripped the mast off the boat and swung it in the filler arc with Idate's brother. You could see the wooden planks tear out and she even held it up while she talked.

The first and only, other than the stereotypical punch she gives to pervert boys. But it was a filler and nobody really cared, this time I think they put it because the movie will come in 2 weeks, close enough to the end of those god forsaken fillers.

Also, everybody likes Sasuke until a further in the anime, it's only natural he like "SASUKE!!", and probably thinks Naruto is a prick.

That picture posted looks remarkably similar to the Naruto animation used in the more intense fight episodes. Orochimaru vs Hokage, Rock Lee vs Gaara and Naruto vs Sasuke.

And everyone hates Sasuke mostly because he's a dick. Naruto was only really good around the time of the Sasuke chase arc, and everything around and following that - yet they ruined it by having two characters who should have died live. In fact, everything following the time-skip has been absolute rubbish.

People argue Naruto isn't like DBZ, yet there are numerous similarities that cannot be denied. For one, death seems to be glazed over in both series' in a similar way. In DBZ characters are ressurected by the DragonBalls and in Naruto main characters don't die because the author doesn't have the balls.

Your heart would be broken sooner or later.

Yep, i've seen the opening with the movie footage. I think sakura has been showing her strenght progressively. I don't read the manga so that i don't get the anime spoiled, so i don't have any ideia where her strenght gets at.

You're a hypocrit, you've spoiled yourself so much that not even the manga could surprise you.

And I agree with you El3ºNiño, Naruto is the new DBZ, but think the ending will be much more satisfying.

It's pretty obivous that Sakura is going to be able to summon Slugs and Sasuke be able to summon Manda. It's been hinted at ever since since it was in one of the earlier manga covers.

Sakura will probably be more powerfull than Tsuande

Sasuke will probably be more powerfull than Oro

Naruto will probably be more powerfull than Ero-sennin but equal with Yondaime.

Anybody have any ideas what will happen to Kabuto?

Oohh, and i suppose you'r not half responsible for my "spoiling", right? STFU and GTFO.:horse:

I still have a feeling Kabuto isn't quite who he seems.

Same here. Hopefully he will one day betray oro.
