On the topic of death note - I'm liking this anime quite a bit. I'd rather not read the manga, since to me that feels like reading the script. Posted December 3, 2006 Picked up a book called Animation Art which is a fairly comprehensive history of animation (it doesn't go into detail in each section, but has a broad range which you can dip into and obviously look at more elsewhere) becasue I may do an essay regarding anime. By the way, Ghibli can get you hooked on anime. You buy spirited away because it looks interesting, and the next thing you know you're translating a doujin visual novel from Japanese...
