It's not that the theory itself is uninteresting or not worthy of research, but what's his point? If it was discovered that atoms were made of pineapples, it wouldn't change my life any more than this does. It's great to search for the nature and truth of reality, but no matter how much we find out about it, we still have to live in it. To me it sounds as if he's trying to convince people to join a cult. A cult that claims to hold the only true path to enlightenment and whose members are required to give up large amounts of money and their freedom of thought (ironic, isn't it?) to get access to this path.
