Raven Posted June 24, 2006 Posted June 24, 2006 As the thread title suggests, yes i have just bought a freeloader. and no shit, with all the new games that im getting, it feels as if i have bought a new console. you may only be able to appreciate this as a PAL gamer. but the second that i got this thing in my hands, so many more good games became available to me, that i swear i would never see in Australia. already i own Skies of Arcadia and Megaman X collection, and im sure that once i feel confident in my bank account again, ill be purchasing more. advise to PAL gamers who are tired of their cube, get a freeloader. that is all.
Ramar Posted June 24, 2006 Posted June 24, 2006 Yeah I got a freeloader ages ago for Animal Crossing. The only other non-PAL game I bought though was Pokémon Colosseum.
Hero-of-Time Posted June 24, 2006 Posted June 24, 2006 I recommend getting Cubivore, Custom Robo and Megaman Anniversary Collection. If you like fighting games then pick up Naruto aswell.
The Bard Posted June 24, 2006 Posted June 24, 2006 I have one but the only games I found worthwhile getting for it were Winning Eleven 6 and Animal Crossing.
The3rdChildren Posted June 24, 2006 Posted June 24, 2006 I got one very shortly after release and have enjoyed a wealth of imports. Nice one, Datel. You repeat the Freeloader with the Wii and I'll take your finest female employee out to dinner. [edit] Y'know... if she was cool with it and stuff.
Guest Jordan Posted June 24, 2006 Posted June 24, 2006 Y'know... if she was cool with it and stuff. With you Guy? Doubtful! Ooooh shot down! Just kiddin' mate, love ya really
The3rdChildren Posted June 24, 2006 Posted June 24, 2006 Just kiddin' mate, love ya really Go wank into a jar, you little slut-fridge.
Shorty Posted June 24, 2006 Posted June 24, 2006 I hate the freeloader. It's great, and it works properly and all. But damn I'm lazy and getting up to switch the disks over is a total pain.
Cube Posted June 25, 2006 Posted June 25, 2006 Freeloaders are a waste of money Get an Action Replay instead.
Helmsly Posted June 25, 2006 Posted June 25, 2006 I got a Freeloader for Animal crossing aswell but I also brought a game called Ultimate Muscle: Legends vs. New Generation. Its a wrestling game based on the cartoon but its made by AKI who made the excellent WWF No mercy for the N64. It plays like a very fast verson of that game only with a story mode (complete with full voice over cast) secret characters and a gallaery mode. Best of all is the multiplayer though. (you can see some screenshots and videos at gamespot: http://uk.gamespot.com/gamecube/sports/ultimatemusclelegendsvng/screenindex.html)
James Posted June 25, 2006 Posted June 25, 2006 I hate the freeloader. It's great, and it works properly and all. But damn I'm lazy and getting up to switch the disks over is a total pain. agreed, my main beef was being for AC. since you could only have fun for about 10 minutes a day. The thought of having to swap discs to play a 10 minutes game was so off-putting.
OVERLORD Posted June 25, 2006 Posted June 25, 2006 Word of caution. New owners be aware Freeloader does not work on I think the Platinum and White GC's! Nintendo changed something in bios rendering Freeloader useless. I emailed Datel who said they were aware of problem but wouldn't envisage an update to fix this. That's why I still retain my original GC having bought Smash Football bundle.
Kurtle Squad Posted June 25, 2006 Posted June 25, 2006 NARUTO: GNT4 .....END OF!!!! The only import games I've got so far are GNT3 & 4 (and Animal Crossing, but I don't need Freeloader as it's an Austalian one). I'm thinking of getting the two Megaman Collections, Cubivore, and Sonic Gems (JP) though. The Freeloader disc stays in the N:GNT4 case to stop some of the hassle
Blue_Ninja0 Posted June 25, 2006 Posted June 25, 2006 NARUTO: GNT4 .....END OF!!!! Yap, no doubt, get NGNT4, it's fun, it's fast and it's a great fighting game. Not as good as the PS2 Naruto though.
