Roostophe Posted April 18, 2007 Posted April 18, 2007 I cannot believe that Juan Pablo Angel has left Villa. Six-and-a-half years he was there. We will always remember him for the 03/04 season where he scored 23 goals. Who's going to have the Number 9 shirt now? I bet it will be either Carew or a new signing in the summer... -------------- I want Chelsea to beat West Ham tonight, as I want to see West Ham get relegated!
Ramar Posted April 18, 2007 Posted April 18, 2007 I want West Ham to go down too, but I'd like to see Chelsea lose. So that the point gap between us isn't so disappointingly huge.

I'm not too bothered what happens to West Ham, but I just hate Chelsea. At least when Arsenal were up there they weren't total wankers.

Arsene "I did not see it" Wenger... United have been total wankers too, don't start thinking they're angelic!
harribo Posted April 18, 2007 Posted April 18, 2007 I just found out who Man U beat. For once I'm happy about them winning.
Goron_3 Posted April 18, 2007 Posted April 18, 2007 God i REALLY hope West Ham beat Chelsea today. i think their determination to avoid relegation will make them perform really well, and hopefully tevez will play well again. 2-1 to west ham I say.
Guest Stefkov Posted April 18, 2007 Posted April 18, 2007 I have high hopes for West Ham tonight. I realy hope they beat Chelsea.
|Laguna| Posted April 18, 2007 Posted April 18, 2007 Oh my god, double D (David Dein - vice chairman) has left Arsenal. Hill-Wood (chairman) said: "On behalf of the board I would like to express our gratitude to David Dein for the many years of loyal service he has given to the club. "We sincerely regret that irreconcilable differences between Mr Dein and the rest of the board have necessitated a parting of the ways." What differences? An American takeover?
Zechs Merquise Posted April 18, 2007 Posted April 18, 2007 I have high hopes for Wet Ham tonight. I realy hope they beat Chelsea. The good thing with heated local matches is anything can happen. But I reckon Chelsea will come through, one or even two nil, maybe more. But I'm praying for a major upset, come on West Ham!

Its hard to tell whether the take over was the key point. Seems likely though. That leaves me thinking did Dein want to sell us out or the board. David Dein did a lot for the club, but hopefully his departure won't shake up things too much.
Ellmeister Posted April 18, 2007 Posted April 18, 2007 Well they managed to beat Arsenal and Man U, so should be pretty easy for Chelsea then hehe
|Laguna| Posted April 18, 2007 Posted April 18, 2007 David Dein was a good guy, always giving his full support to Arsene and had many contacts within the footballing world and was involved in a lot of transfer negotiations. Interesting fact - Dein's son was the best man at Henry's wedding.
BlueStar Posted April 18, 2007 Posted April 18, 2007 His ambition has been the driving force behind their success in recent years. Could be big changes afoot at the Emirates and possibly not for the better.
Colin Posted April 18, 2007 Posted April 18, 2007 West Ham v Chelsea is turning into a brilliant game. Score currently 2-1 Chelsea, but Shawn Wright-Phillips has scored 2 great goals, and Tevez has put a screamer past Cech.
Guest Stefkov Posted April 18, 2007 Posted April 18, 2007 Wright-Phillips goals were really good. His second more than his first imo. Teves' goal was awesome. Cech's mistake though, he tried to palm it out but bent his arms too short. THe latest headlines were popping up, Blackburn vs watford. Just watching that come up thinking that seems like a better game. Then 3 goals in a short space of time. Come on West Ham!

Platty Posted April 18, 2007 Posted April 18, 2007 They played well first half and deserved to be in the lead. But Wright-Philips 2 wonder goals were well wonderful. Can't believe it's now 4-1
Goron_3 Posted April 18, 2007 Posted April 18, 2007 Grrr Stupid chelsea. To anyone who watched the match, did chelsea deserve to be up 4-1? it annoys me when they get results that they don't deserve, considering they've been pretty inconsistent sometimes this season and still won matches by 2-3 goals..
Daft Posted April 18, 2007 Posted April 18, 2007 Chelsea deserved to win. I reckon it should have been 4-2.
