Sarka Posted September 25, 2005 Posted September 25, 2005 That's right folks! It's only 3 month until Christmas! Some people would say that it is far to early to think about Christmas, but I'm with Jonathon Ross in thinking that we should plan ahead! What is on your Christmas lists? This is mine! Video Camera Memory stick (512Mb prolly) MP3 watch Mario and Luigi 2 Animal Crossing Electroplankton With the power of eBay I should be able to get all of this for under £200! Good old Santa!
Sprout Posted September 25, 2005 Posted September 25, 2005 .......pls ban. Banning someone for making a thread about Christmas early? I think not.
Ramar Posted September 25, 2005 Posted September 25, 2005 My mum swears she saw someone with their christmas tree up already. Talking about Christmas in September is ridiculous. Though to be honest I've already told my parents I want an iPod this year. Best to warn them early 'cause they're expensive and popular.
Raining_again Posted September 25, 2005 Posted September 25, 2005 Im 19..too old for christmas lists :P i have a job i spend it all on myself anyway
Mr. Bananagrabber Posted September 25, 2005 Posted September 25, 2005 .......pls ban. ....... pls die. I don't really want anything for christmas
dabookerman Posted September 25, 2005 Posted September 25, 2005 i wont get anything for zmas other then a tenner, since i got a job and shit, plus i aint rich...so ill be doing all the buying
zatoichi Posted September 25, 2005 Posted September 25, 2005 Wow, a lot of people on here didn't have their humour injection when they were born. Of course he shouldn't be banned for making a thread about Christmas three months early. Jeez, take it with a pinch of salt! And Yamcha, why should I die?
craig Posted September 25, 2005 Posted September 25, 2005 Its waaaaay too early to be thinking about Christmas.
CompSci Posted September 25, 2005 Posted September 25, 2005 i do not celebrate Christmas, but i lov the ambience of it, plus it has the best tele shows of the whole yr, which is a plus, and also uni holidays!!!!!!!!!
Blackfox Posted September 25, 2005 Posted September 25, 2005 This is the exact reason why Christmas has just become a bullshit holiday. People making present lists already? Jeez. Christmas is meant to be about Jesus and all that & the season of goodwill. Not by adding to consumerism by making plans to force mummy and daddy to pay hundreds of pounds for your gifts. Come back and make a proper Xmas thread around the 10th December.
masaki86 Posted September 25, 2005 Posted September 25, 2005 Hehe; at Wilkinsons; we've already got christams stock out, and the decorations will be going up soon as well.
zatoichi Posted September 25, 2005 Posted September 25, 2005 Blackfox, that's exactly why I wrote that humourous anecdote. You shouldn't start thinking about Christmas in my opinion until December.
craig Posted September 25, 2005 Posted September 25, 2005 Is it ok with everyone if I get in early and start the Official New Years Eve Party thread !!!1! :awesome:
Blackfox Posted September 25, 2005 Posted September 25, 2005 Blackfox, that's exactly why I wrote that humourous anecdote. You shouldn't start thinking about Christmas in my opinion until December. Im glad someone else agrees!
Dieter Posted September 25, 2005 Posted September 25, 2005 i do not celebrate Christmas, but i lov the ambience of it, plus it has the best tele shows of the whole yr, which is a plus, and also uni holidays!!!!!!!!! *cowers* Strange things scare me What language is it that you speak? Is it ok with everyone if I get in early and start the Official New Years Eve Party thread !!!1! I'm reserving the 2007 one!
Sarka Posted September 25, 2005 Author Posted September 25, 2005 Why wait to get excited. I starting feeling Christmasy a couple of days ago, so might as well spread the joy... even if it ain't getting far! Also yes, maybe not the most serious of threads, you might as well be jolly now! Hohoho! Shops do have their Christmas stock in already, and some idiots do have their Christmas trees up, making the Christmas atmosphere come early. I personally do not believe in Jesus ect, but the Christmas feeling has a mind of it's own!
Gaijin von Snikbah Posted September 25, 2005 Posted September 25, 2005 I want world peace! Thanks! And a DS strip poker game. ;p
kopo Posted September 25, 2005 Posted September 25, 2005 Each year i ask for a dinosaur and my weight in gold. What do i get? Love. Fucking love. You can't sell love. Unless...
dukkadukka Posted September 25, 2005 Posted September 25, 2005 it's a season of goodwill, i'm sure for most of us it's meaning has been removed from christianity, but there should still be a spiritual meaning. for me it's all about spending time with the people i love, fine wine and finer food i'm not excited yet but i love seeing everyone else excited about christmas, it's such a happy time. i'm not sure about the idea of planning christmas lists yet though, it seems a little self-indulgent.
Ashley Posted September 25, 2005 Posted September 25, 2005 To be honest there are some things I have thought about, but as its 3 months. No serious thought though, just stuff I want but dont want to buy myself.
Raining_again Posted September 25, 2005 Posted September 25, 2005 i dont like gettin loads of money and presents i feel so guilty.. i love the christmas meal tho....so much delicious food and a good time to sit with family (without arguements) its the best day of the year!
zatoichi Posted September 25, 2005 Posted September 25, 2005 Yeah right, Christmas is a happy time. But it's also not in September.
RoadKill Posted September 25, 2005 Posted September 25, 2005 Its waaaaay too early to be thinking about Christmas. There is nothing but truth in this statement. Stop this madness at once.
