UK Posted September 30, 2007 Posted September 30, 2007 Can an admin delete my pms as I really cannot be bothered too.
Emasher Posted September 30, 2007 Posted September 30, 2007 If your too lazy to do it what makes you think an admin would be willing to spend there off time serving you.
Eddage Posted September 30, 2007 Posted September 30, 2007 Can an admin delete my pms as I really cannot be bothered too. You know, in the time it took you to make that post you probably could have deleted them about five time over...
UK Posted September 30, 2007 Posted September 30, 2007 If your too lazy to do it what makes you think an admin would be willing to spend there off time serving you. Err, because it makes them feel powerful?
Emasher Posted September 30, 2007 Posted September 30, 2007 Why would being your servant make anyone feel powerful?
Charlie Posted September 30, 2007 Posted September 30, 2007 Can moderators view people's PMs? No, we can't.
The fish Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 No, we can't. Hmm, you'd better be telling the truth (not that you have no reason not to), because otherwise, I might have to accuse a certain someone of cheating in the Mafia game...
UK Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 If a moderator gives someone an infraction, can another mod remove it?
Charlie Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 Hmm, you'd better be telling the truth (not that you have no reason not to), because otherwise, I might have to accuse a certain someone of cheating in the Mafia game... Check the default VB settings if you want, mods can't view users PMs. If a moderator gives someone an infraction, can another mod remove it? No.
Charlie Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 OK, can the same moderator or an admin remove it? I can't remove the one I gave you, I suppose admins will be able to. Don't see why they would want to though.
conzer16 Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 All this talk about infractions.....eh I still have an infraction? I can't remember where you can see whether you have one or not...
Charlie Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 All this talk about infractions.....eh I still have an infraction? I can't remember where you can see whether you have one or not... Go to your profile and you can see.
UK Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 I can't remove the one I gave you, I suppose admins will be able to. Don't see why they would want to though. Admins- is there anything they can't do?
Tellyn Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 Admins- is there anything they can't do? They can't pull off my dance moves.
Emasher Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 All this talk about infractions.....eh I still have an infraction? I can't remember where you can see whether you have one or not... I got one almost a year ago only for saying "in before lock" Why don't they disappear when they expire?
Charlie Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 I got one almost a year ago only for saying "in before lock" Why don't they disappear when they expire? So we can see who's caused trouble in the past. I like giving out infractions, it's fun. I think about half of all the ones given out were by me.
Emasher Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 well mine was. what percent of users have got them.
UK Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 So we can see who's caused trouble in the past. I like giving out infractions, it's fun. I think about half of all the ones given out were by me. so what you're saying is... disobey the forum rules so you can get a kick from handing out PM's? I thought that mods and admins were supposed not to like giving out infractions.
Guest Stefkov Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 I say we promote UK to lead admin and obey his every command. He could make this place a whole lot better. If you didn't see the sarcasm you're as blind as fuck
motion Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 Yeah we all know it's emasher who dreams of becoming an admin or mod in this place.
Emasher Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 Why would I want to be an admin or mod? I have enough stuff to do already.
motion Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 Just the way you keep telling mods how to do their job, ie. who to ban, when to close a topic, how to change the name of a topic, and telling posters where to post their topics, what they can/can't discuss etc etc - never mind
