I might be available afterall. My plan was to go to Amsterdam to see a film at the Amsterdam Spanish Film Festival, and try to get my recently ordered Criterion  blu-ray of Pan's Labyrinth signed by Maribel Verdú. However, apparently, the Q&A has been cancelled, so there's less of a reason for me to go see the film in Amsterdam. There's a small chance I'll go anyway, but I don't know.

So I just join a room or something at 9:15? Usually only play this with randoms

Yup, should be under the Friends option.

Just click on that than one of our faces.

I've opened the room now. The password will be 4444.

Holy crap at those levels! Makes me look positively normal!

I'll start matches when the 6th person joins.

if there's any room I can join too

Sure, go ahead.

I'll rotate a spectator if there's 9 people, so it's cool.

Cheers for the games. :) Same time next week?

First time trying the spectator mode tonight, very cool. Shows just how amazing Splatoon 2’s engine is.

This was also my first time seeing Spectator mode. Was there something you could do with the d-pad and the face buttons? I noticed each player had a button or direction assigned to them but it didn't seem to do anything

If you hold ZL and then press the corresponding button, you can see the match from that person's point of view.

As long you keep holding ZL, the camera will stay behind them.

So awesome that there were nine of us, so many close games! Would be great to make it a weekly thing.

I'll happily host it. I love N-E splat-ups.
