We have some news to kick off the new year, especially one that we think everyone will be pretty happy about: - All banner ads are disabled for VIP members. We’re also working on finally solving the issues with intrusive ads, which aren’t allowed by us or the ad network. We’re working with a big and serious ad network, but unfortunately there are advertisers trying to find any loophole they can to get through all quality checks. If we don’t find a solution in the near future we will try another ad network. Posted January 15, 2014 @Blade you should think about joining the cup will be a good introduction to the game before the season proper starts. You are able to log in now and look at your team btw. You have a team that isn't great tbh but does have some strengths. I would try and buy a young 19-20 5-6 star goalie and use him as your main one. You may ship some goals but he is better than the awful ones you have and will improve for the future. In defence sack Horne and Ricketts and try and get another 19-20 5-6 star player for cheap. In midfield sack Hassall and I would also get rid of either Thomson or Ackram but not both, then bring in yet again a 19-20 5-6 star person. Forward line is your biggest strength I would sell Bower and rotate your two young strikers to play with Parsons. Also as you will be logging in for the first time get some money by doing the sponser activity and go to press and write a short 200 word PR to get more money then use it to train your players up. Ideally I like to have under 25s over 15 form and over 25s at around 15. The other bigger thing is your side is very weak atm but do not despair! This is a game that requires planning over seasons. Your players have the potential to go up a skill bar or even two each season (especially the young ones). Anyway if you don't enter the cup try and get a friendly with someone and get to grips with the game and enjoy In other news "A lifelong fan of Hadens Legends found a large diamond ring whilst using his new metal detector at the beach. He sold the ring and donated the proceeds of 998 500 econ to the club." Booyah! This is my fault but I just have memories about xpert from Zell and Nikos atm. Posted January 16, 2014 (edited) In for the cup. 11+ and 9 visible, including a double jump. Not bad but I thought it was going to be better than that. Blame it on the small squad I guess. Team average has risen from 10.3 to 10.5 despite two high skill players leaving. Still the strongest team of all, now listed as full bar above second place(Ellmeister again). Posted January 16, 2014 Plus 14 and 14 visible including a double jump, one of the best reports I have ever had really feel my team is on the verge of something very impressive but they still haven't won anything more than the lower league title so it is time for them to all step up. Posted January 16, 2014 Quite a good change report for me, all + except for 2 of my over 30 players. A couple of invisible jumps make it look disappointing but this was my first season with great dv (15/16 all round) for a few seasons so I was expecting that. Iwao is looking the part. 3rd highest valued team in the league behind eights and inter. Things looking up. Lots of teams starting to fall in place right now, Haden Rangers and Elites for a start. Will be a good season / league! I'd vote 6 (or even five) per group if we haven't set on anything yet? Posted January 16, 2014 My DVs weren't great this season, but managed to pull off a +10 change report which is okay considering my squad is starting to age. I'll be looking to sell some of my oldies in the transfer window. Also, got a nice amount of prize money this season. 500k for 2nd place, 250k for top goal scorer and 350k for manager of the season! For the Champions' League, if it's going to be a one-off then we should get every team involved and not just the top 16. Either we do 5 groups of 6 or drop a couple of inactive teams and make it 4 groups of 7. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I could get rid of the most inactive team (I think that's Fish's team - not logged in since october) and we could have 5 groups of 6. It would still be 16 teams in the finals though. Posted January 17, 2014 (edited) I don't think I've ever said that about DV. The DV in the knockout stage is 'bonus' DV. You don't get any less DV than you would in a normal season if you don't play in the knockouts. Teams that DO play in the knockouts obviously get extra DV. The knockouts are 4 rounds which means a maximum of two teams would get 4 extra games, four teams would get 3 extra games etc. This is no different from having an official cup running alongside the season (which the VIP and official leagues have) where teams that progress further in the cup obviously get extra games and therefore extra DV. If we drop to 7-7-7-7 and still have inactives, that would still mean less inactive teams than having it as 8-8-8-7. I could open it and advertise the league a bit and hopefully get another team in but we would still have the inactive teams we do now (fish, Jayseven, Balbuzards/Seahawks). They'll be auto-sacked soon anyway.
