The remastered version is coming out 10th February 2016.

Good evening, PlayStation fans, I’m thrilled to bring you some breaking news from Japan Studio via Tokyo Game Show 2015!

Gravity Rush Remastered, an upgraded version of the highly acclaimed PlayStation Vita hit, is officially making its way to PS4 on February 10th, 2016.

Brought to life on the big screen by the team at BluePoint Games, you’ll be able to join heroine Kat and her sidekick Dusty as they soar through the enchanting city of Hekseville like never before. On the graphics side, this release takes advantage of the PS4 hardware to deliver the smooth, vibrant HD visuals of this high-flying adventure.

All three original DLC packs released alongside Gravity Rush’s initial release — the Spy Pack, The Maid Pack, and The Military Pack — will also be included within the game.

Whether you are brand new to the franchise, or want to relive the experience again, Gravity Rush Remastered is the perfect opportunity to experience the magical story of Kat as she seeks answers to her mysterious gravity-defying powers and forgotten past, now in full HD 1080p glory with ample graphical and performance improvements.

Played the PS4 version of the original earlier this year and loved every second of it. Thought Gravity Rush 2 was just a rumour, had no idea it was announced three years ago. Anyway, great news, hopefully it's out soon.

I seemed to have missed this during E3: There was a demo, and here's a good amount of footage, which shows the different gravity modes.

It looks amazing, and builds on her powers. Definitely looks like the combat will be more varied.

I've got the first one ready to play on PS4. I'll probably start that this week. How long is it roughly? Tempted to play Unravel before delving into it if it's on the longer side.

It ain't that long. Probably about 10 hours max.

Delayed until early next year.

In July, we announced a release date for Gravity Rush 2 that we felt most appropriate for the title. Since then, though production is proceeding smoothly, the landscape for that release date has changed dramatically.

Gravity Rush 2 is the conclusion of Kat’s journey, so we want players to have enough time to dive deep into her story. In addition, as a lot of work went into online features that allow for asynchronous player interaction, we want as many people as possible playing the title at the same time. Thus, after careful deliberation, we have decided to change the release date. Gravity Rush 2 will now launch on January 18th, 2017.

I would like to apologize to all those players anxiously awaiting Gravity Rush 2. After four years of development making a title we are very proud of, we want to release it at the very best time.

In exchange for the longer wait, we have decided to release the premium DLC planned for the title free of charge. This additional story will take place in the world of Gravity Rush 2 and we think fans will have a lot of fun playing through it.

As we move into the holiday season and the New Year, we have many more exciting things in store, including more information about the title and the special animated feature. Please keep an eye out for more on Gravity Rush 2, and thank you again for all your support.

Good decision and no doubt it's due to the likes of Final Fantasy XV and The Last Guardian being pushed back to the end of November and the start of December. This will give the game some room to shine.

That's too bad. One of the games I was the most looking forward to this year.

What's this online thing they're talking about? Scoreboards for time trials or make your own races?
