Cheesy ad but it works. :heh:

I can't wait for this! : peace:

Just showing a ton of ingame footage would have been better. Looking forward though. Social components are quite good. I wonder if we will create a club?

Went for the plus edition upgrade pre order. Cheapest disk option was £44(amazon pre order). Game have the special edition for £55 but the extras dont seem worth it as all the cars can be unlocked in game.

Nice one!

So that's another one of us getting the full retail version. So are we gonna manage to get six players for our club who will play regularly.

The embargo lifts on Monday so expect reviews then.

If I'm loving the game I'll be getting the season pass too as its excellent value for money

I've got a retail version pre-ordered, and have had it done since June/July last year. If there is room in the club, count me in as i'll be playing.

Depending on how the game plays once i have it (the demo was very good i might add), i'll probably snag the Season pass as well.

Think I'm currently gonna try out the version that comes free on PS+ to see how this plays before making a judgment call on whether to get it or not. Should give me enough of an idea of whether it's worth upgrading to the full version after that. Seems to share some ideas with the likes of PGR so if it plays at all like that, then I'm more than in. Hoping it's more than just a looker and has the substance to go with it. We shall see anyway.

Why would you buy the retail version? Get the digital upgrade for £35 and save yourself a tenner.

I'm getting it for £35 as well. GAME forgot to clear some pre-orders i had collected. I can't remember which games they were for, but it's happened before when i bought inFamous and got the edition with the beanie for cheaper, so i'm putting the deposits towards the cost. Still a little cheaper, which for a boxed retail edition is pretty good going.

Anyone know how this club thing works?

There isnt any customisation. You can only select some colours and unlock some fixed decal designs. I dont think your car can even be plain if you wanted. :p

Nice to see you read other peoples posts.

I was hoping it was more than 6...

Haha, that customization is pathetic.

The game itself looks intense.

Considering it's for a figure you'll hardly notice in the car it's far better than Gran Turismo's where you could adjust the colour of your stig a likes helmet.

The games does indeed look intense.

You play for liveries - it's a racing game you don't expect to drive around in a shit brown Ford Escort.

Inches?

This games gonna be rubbish isn't it :(

Yup it's gonna be terrible. Not even worth downloading even thought it's free.

But seriously Driveclub is still my most anticipated game this year.

Some pretty average reviews for the game.

I have the game as pre-ordered from PSN but am disappointed that a game which was due out nearly a year ago hasn’t managed to hit the heights I thought it would.

FH2 by all accounts is amazing and looks like this isn't all that.

The Sony exclusives aint really doing much on the PS4 so far.

Eurogamer 6/10

'The PS4's DriveClub barely manages to raise itself beyond mere competence.'

Ooh dear. The actual handling looks a bit Dirt-like to me in the way that it isn't super precise and is quite forgiving, which means you don't really feel like you improve as you progress through the game. I'm interested to see what you guys make of it.
