Falcon_BlizZACK Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 Thinking of Pokemon Battle Revolution and the latest Pokemon series at the time (which bizarrely escapes me at the moment) - I'd say we're due for a home console Pokemon game to cater for Black and White. Wii U Pokemon game on or near launch? Yesh pleashe. #hypetrain
Mike Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 Well, colour me impressed. NSMB2, new Pokémon stuff, patches and folders - I wasn't expecting any of that! Very surprised at the lack of Luigi's Mansion, but I'm sure that's ticking along nicely, and if a delay means a better game, no complaints from me. Good to see a few new AC screenshots, but it's a shame there was no new info. I'm not too bothered about all the Kirby stuff, to be honest. I guess my only slight worry from the conference is that NSMB2 looks pretty ugly from those screenshots - I'm hoping some higher quality screens will put my mind at ease there.
Hero-of-Time Posted April 21, 2012 Author Posted April 21, 2012 I've posted a recap of everything in the first post on the first page.
Jamba Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 Thats quite a lot of very Japan focused stuff. Will be very interesting to see how different the Europe broadcast is going to be.
Fused King Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 Well I guess we can knock off one of those possible Wii trailers, now that it has already been released on the official site (Project Zero 2) That means that either this EU Nintendo Direct video will be featuring only one Wii trailer (Beat the Beat Rhythm Paradise), or there are some Wii surprises coming our way! Oh yeah, how could I forget about that, one of my most anticipated games this year! This better be there, or else! Also, is NSMB2 for the 3DS?
Fused King Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 Who's joining me in the chatroom for the NOE NINTENDO DIRECT ? http://n-europe.com/special.php?sid=chat
Mike Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 Nothing mindblowing (Nintendo-Panini teamup was the closest to that), but still a solid Nintendo Direct. Shibata should totally become NOE's Reggie and have a higher profile - he rocks! (I could listen to him trying to pronounce words starting with L all afternoon too. ) Shame there was no Animal Crossing, but I'm still confident we'll see it by the year's end.

Jamba Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 So harsh for Satoru "Ciabatta"... honestly who wrote his script? It's like there were sitting there saying, "Right, let's see how he handles this! Dream.... Drop .... Distance. Perfect." Really liked it and am STOCKED that Nintendo have a partnership with Panini. That is going to go mental in the UK. Here's hoping that Pokemon cards are to follow. Also is anyone pretty amazed at how crammed with games the rest of this year is looking to be? All of these releases + everything that will be shown off at E3 for Wii U (Shane Satterfield from Gametrailers has said that the launch lineup is damn good) is going to make for one very happy gaming xmas.
Ike Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 (edited) Yeah his English was pretty bad. Hope he didn't have to do it for every European language Shibata apologises for them #NintendoDirectEU That was nice of him even though it probably had nothing to do with him. Nintendo partnering with Panini to launch Kid Icarus Idol AR cards in stores! #NintendoDirectEU I'm more excited for this than I should probably be. They are bringing out an album to keep them in as well! Edited April 21, 2012 by Ike

Fused King Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 I suddenly have a craving to make some panini and ciabatta sandwiches. Some tuna and rucola on it, damn nice Also is anyone pretty amazed at how crammed with games the rest of this year is looking to be? All of these releases + everything that will be shown off at E3 for Wii U (Shane Satterfield from Gametrailers has said that the launch lineup is damn good) is going to make for one very happy gaming xmas. Not me, I'm still pretty amazed at how my backlog will provide gaming happiness for me for a bout 5 to 6 years. As far as I'm concerned, all of the gaming industry can put their knowledge to use by coming up with solutions to world problems for that amount of time. After that, they can return to their former jobs of creating awesomness, and the world will, hopefully, be a better place as well
Cube Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 Also is anyone pretty amazed at how crammed with games the rest of this year is looking to be? Personally, the list of announced games exclusive to Nintendo platforms due this year that I'm looking forward to are: 1. ...... I'm hoping Nintendo have a lot to offer at E3. Layton will likely be released this year, and hopefully Pikmin 3 also will be...so that's two games which may be out this year. I think I may get round to getting Galaxy 2.

Or any of the stuff coming to the 3DS? It's the lack of Metroid isn't it?
