I've got a 3DS and I can't confirm the availability of any quality software. But then I'm totally jaded towards Mario and Zelda products to the point where I genuinely wouldn't care if I never played another one again. Which sort of begs the question: why in the name of sweet dancing goombas did I buy one in the first place? Well, because I like shiny new things.

Not a fan of Kid Icarus or Resident Evil: Revelations?

Revelations is lame. Now I'm the sort of person who likes to substantiate his claims, but in this case, it's pretty self evident why it's so damn mediocre. I haven't tried Kid Icarus yet.

Yup, and that's a game I have no reservations about saying is awful. The first thing is the bland Nintendo Mii design which makes the thing a chore to look at, the second is the fact that there isn't very much to do besides fly through checkpoints and engage in banal minigames. Nobody but a pure bred Nintendo apologist could say that game is anything but dull. But then, we are on a Nintendo forum so that type of personality comes with the territory.

Rhythm Thief and Pullblox aren't the kind of games I like to play.

Then again, the second a new Advance Wars comes out, I'll undoubtedly be glued to the machine for months.

You should give Ghost Recon Shadow Wars a go, it got really good reviews.

I don't agree with you at all about Pilotwings. It's a really challenging game with probably around 10-20hrs worth of content to complete it 100%. Minigames is also very much the wrong term for the challenge mode.

Also, throwing out the fanboy card after 2 posts is incredibly lame Bard!

Not saying you're a fanboy, but I really found the game to be bland. The 10-20 hours of content is a redundant point since I didn't get more than 15 minutes into it without it evoking an overwhelming sense of existential angst. It's a flight game with arcade sensibilities, so it would really have benefited from some interesting incidental sightscapes, which would only have been helped by the 3D. Instead we got one of the most boring looking games of all time, in which the majority of the gameplay consists of flying through hoops scattered around utterly bland landscapes.

I'm very tempted to give Shadow Wars a go, I've heard nothing but good things. Maybe if I can find it cheap somewhere.

I've seen enough crazy shit pulled off on LBP to not worry about the environments. All I care about is how the game feels.

At the very least I know there'll be some awesome Tron themed tracks.

That's if I don't get bored of the whole idea and just don't buy it.
