Cube Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 A leaked placeholder boxart that was found alongside a Sonic Generations one. It was pretty obvious that it was going to happen, though. Was the adventure mode from the DS game in the last Wii one? If not, they should add that - it was pretty cool (not as good as Mario Golf/Tennis GBC/GBA, but still better than nothing).
Hero-of-Time Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 Surely this one will support Wii Motion+, right? I quite enjoyed both the other games but they will have to do something a little different this time if they want my cash on day one.
Retro_Link Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 I dunno, do you reckon enough people have Motion+? I'd reckon the vast majority of casual Wii owners don't. That would mean having to do a bundle, which would up the price considerably.

Dyson Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 Ooooh a London based Mario and Sonic - consider me interested! Haven't had any of the other games but they have always had a good reception so I'm in!
Ganepark32 Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 They could always make it optional, as other games have done. Pleases both camps, as those who know nothing of WM+ can still play it without having to by an accessory and those who have it can relish in more accuracy. Anyway, this is pretty much a given but it's not something I'm particularly interested in. Didn't play the Beijing one but played the Winter Olympics and didn't really enjoy it very much at all. Perhaps WM+ would have helped, and I can see it being of more use in the Summer Olympics for the throwing sports, but I doubt this'll pique my interest.
Ashley Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 If I don't see Sonic and Mario hanging around in Covent Garden next summer I'm going to be pissed!

Well this is the thing, and is mine and I'm sure a lot of peoples main concern about the direction of the franchise. I mean...having the Mario and Sonic characters is all well and good, in the same way that having a wide range of Olympic sports is good....but where do you stop? Where do you draw the line kind of thing.
