ReZourceman
It was average, I probably won't bother with P.3 I wouldn't write it off. Apparently they're not following the same formula for Part III. As I mentioned in my video, it would be awesome if we actually followed them on the night. Its the only way I can see it going really. AND MORE JUSTIN BARTHA. mcj metroid
Saw this.. It was funny and I don't agree with the slating it's getting in reviews at all. it's just as good as the first one. It's just.. not a very quotable movie. My friends and I usually love quoting shit after movies.. I was lost for words at this one.

Dog-amoto
I enjoyed this, yes it was a carbon copy of the first one, but it was piss funny. But the bits that annoyed me: Alan was way too over the top. Certainly not as funny as in the first one as he was kind of believable in that The monk scene was crap, especially the Alan meditation scene The Mike Tyson cameo was awful
McPhee
Saw it last night. It was alright. The scene where they woke up in the room kinda spoiled it. Seeing Phil wake up again and being like...WTF? was kinda cringe-worthy. Fat Jesus falling out of bed got a laugh though and things recovered pretty quickly when the Monkey dived on Stu (annoyed that the posters spoiled the whole tattoo surprise though, it would have been funny if everyone wasn't expecting it). After that it was a pretty good film IMO with some good jokes. Not as funny as the first, too many 'i've seen this before' moments, but not bad. I'd agree with Rez's 7/10 (where the original was a 9/10).

In terms of your ratings. I watched the original for the first time on Friday night and thought it distinctly average. It had been over-hyped and over-quoted a lot so I knew it wasn't going to be as good as everyone made it out to be. Good film, I enjoyed watching it, but not up to the dizzying heights everyone made it out to be. Part 2? Very similar to the first and I couldn't really pick between them which one was better. Diageo
I thought it was pretty good but got no humongous laughs from me. A solid stream of chuckles and surprise. Enjoyed seeing it anyway. There was a lot more penises in it than I expected. And the pictures at the end weren't as funny as in the first film.
jayseven
I think this film did exactly as it intended, and did it well enough. It's very much A Weekend at Bernies-style 'of the time' hi-jinkery formulatrinic 2000. I think I'm trying to say too much at once with that. The film's throwaway late 80's/early 90's we'll-play-a-song-you've-kinda-heard-real-loud-when-we-go-from-A-to-B (and 'I Ran' at the end, to illustrate) harks back to an era when this was pretty much what you got with a sequel - the same scenario, the same characters, just everything up a notch. I wouldn't care if there was a third! ONE THING that got me, though, was the second-to-last photo during the credits ... seemed to be blatantly imitated. Grated at me because it was completely contrasting to the style of the rest of the movie and it was the last thought I was left with after seeing the movie.
