drahkon
French electronic music. Many people might only know D.A.N.C.E. or The Party and have no idea that Justice is behind those tracks. While these songs are quite good they do not reach the awesomeness that every other track on their debut album Cross contains. Cross is probably THE best album I have ever listened to - or so I thought. Then I found out about A Cross The Universe, Justice's live record. I just can't stop listening to it. Some appetisers: Phantom Pt. 1.5 from A Cross The Universe Audio Waters Of Nazareth Audio
dwarf
The dubbing of Genesis over the Assassin's Creed trailer/advert was weirdly awesome. They make some good soundz.
Dan_Dare
Yeah they're pretty good. Maybe a touch...obvious, but still good.
Paj!
I'm almost waiting to see what they pull out the bag for a second before finalising my true opinion - I have a horrible feeling they may be a one-album wonder. Not sure why. Saw them live in 2007 with CSS before I bought the album, and they were AWESOME! Really really cool (IIRC).
nekunando
Justice is actually the sort of thing I'd be interested in experimenting with in 2011 in an attempt to broaden my musical tastes.. I first noticed the name with Simian with We Are Your Friends, which I actually quite liked at the time. I have D.A.N.C.E. in my media library and although I think the middle section of the song is decent enough, I don't like how it starts or ends I just had a listen to The Party after it was mentioned there.. but it didn't suit me at all We Are Your Friends led me towards downloading I Believe (Not particularly great..) and Cruel Intentions (Pretty good..) by Simian so maybe it's about time I checked out Justice.. not that I think that either will ultimately appeal to me

I enjoyed Cross and they're fucking quality live but I definitely need to hear another album before I decide if Justice are as good as Cross

That's what I did this year. I was pleasantly surprised of how I became hooked to Justice. You should all try out their 4-part track Planisphére. Especially part 1 is really good. Now, Simian Mobile Disco are a different bag altogether. SMD is half of Simian following their retro techno interests.
Ashley
I read the original post and thought "they don't have a song called The Party" then it clicked. If you're going to name drop at least do it correctly :p

I bought it off iTunes and only realised they'd named it wrong this year.
ShavenWolf
The ending of DVNO is the best bassline I've ever heard.
drahkon
Really? An 8 seconds teaser? Jesus Christ...sounds awesome, though Edit:
Daft
I was so underwhelmed by this. Then again Ed Banger were stoopid enough to release this a day before which doesn't sound like it was made for TV adverts.
Dyson
Daft - That was awesome. Really enjoyed it. dr4hkon - I'm not a major fan of this but then there's a track on Cross (the name escapes me) that I'm not keen on either. I still have high hopes for the second album. Daft
Stress is stunning. All of it. The track. The video. They aren't ever going to top that monster.
nekunando
Stress is stunning.. It's definitely one of the better tracks on the album, though there are a few decent ones. I don't particularly enjoy any of the ones with singing in them such as DVNO and Tthhee Ppaarrttyy..
