I don't know too much as I havn't wanted to spoil myself so this is as much as I know;

A government agent or something or someone uncovers the biggest cover up conspiracy thing in human history.

Antics ensue.

Bet it's aliens.

P.S what else has Sophia been in? That actress is in something I've seen a lot/loved I'm sure.

EDIT: E.R! She was Dr. Weaver.

Five minutes into this and I've been given '38 minutes earlier', '11 days earlier', now back in the '38 minutes earlier'...

...it's not looking promising.

Edt: Now 'Three months earlier'. Yeeesh.

Edit edit: 'Eight days earlier' now. Yeeeeeeeesh.

Just watched the 2nd episode thought is good, not as much jumping round like the first which was a plus. And you actually get answers to things quickly. No waiting trying to figure out mysteries that may never be solved like some shows did :heh:

I was expecting Aliens to be the big secret... but was not expecting them to be the people in the prison. I thought that they would be people who had witnessed an Alien landing or something and the government wanted to cover it up by detaining everyone.

I think the only question I had after the 1st ep that wasn't answered is how Sean found out his girls dad was gonna try crash the plane and got on the plane. I had thought he had discovered about the Event by this time which lead to him finding out about yer ones dad going kamikazee. Yet he seems pretty clueless to eveything at the moment.

But finding out about this evil(ish) sect of Aliens.... kinda reminds me of V really... just without the ships hovering over he cities. I wonder if even though they stopped the plane from killing the president if maybe they were also the ones who forced the dad/pilot to do it.

Was surprised though that he guy from the cruise wasn't in on it (Ger?). I knew the girl was, so expected him to be too.

5 episodes in, IMHO its starting to get really good.

I replied to my friend on FB saying this and felt it was too summary-good to not paste.

It isn't a LOST rip off, its actually really good potential to be AMAZING. I've been downloading it/watching it in the US. Upto episode 5 which was excellent, and it (in particular) didn't seem to follow a typical "every episode needs a cliff hanger" mentality of LOST. I really do recommend it. Give it passed episode 2 definitely. I didn't think much of it at episode 1 as they didn't reveal enough, but there has been a steady and consistent but most importantly satisfying amount of information since.

Saw first two tonight. Wasn't instantly hooked but we will probably watch it (housemates and I (correct use?)).

Hopefully it gets better. Cliffhanger on the end of second ep was good.

Yeah it gets better! Episode 3/4/5 are I'd say a lot better than the first 2.

I think I'm up to ep 4, just re-watched the first two with my dad and I've formed my conclusion;

The show is taking us for a ride. The 'potential for being good' is false. It will always be like this. There is no ultimate ending, there is just cliffhanger. It is not high-art, it has music that tells us how to feel constantly and it has clearly defined, stereotypical characters.

But I'm a sucker for it. I've never minded this sort of TV, but it is NBC so there's only so much to expect from it. I expect to be mildly surprised each episode, and I expect to be kept highly tense throughout each episode. It is not character driven at all, and so far there's no comic relief... It's trying to fill a hole that lost, flashforward and 24 have all left/attained to, and while I'll be watching every episode I will be under no illusion that this show is actually any good at all.
