Kate Bush has a really distinctive voice, singing in English (with really good "diction"), where the singer of Gate has a totally different voice, singing in Norwegian. You'd have more of a point if it were Wuthering Heights, where she put on the "falsetto" voice (but then not really, because it still sounds different to Gate). Anyway, it's a bit of a double standard to have, considering The Format are amongst your favourites. *licks finger and makes "chhh" sound* (who is suspiciously up against a by-and-large unheard of band. HMMMMM! ) And people would be like "You put Kate up against a big band because you knew she'd be more popular!" if she were against Bloc Party or someone and won. There's no reason for Paj to try and fix it, especially since HoL stands far more of a chance of winning than most of the stuff he nominated.
