Pyxis Posted November 24, 2009 Posted November 24, 2009 Here's a pretty saddening fact: I've never had an advent calendar in my life! Let's face it, you're not exactly missing much. Waiting for Christmas is bad enough without being teased by tiny bits of chocolate!
Eenuh Posted November 24, 2009 Posted November 24, 2009 Let's face it, you're not exactly missing much. Waiting for Christmas is bad enough without being teased by tiny bits of chocolate! I'd still rather have tiny bits of chocolate than nothing at all though! =P But yeah darksnowman, go buy one. I might do the same really, if I come across one. I've missed out on them in my life, so maybe it's time to fix that now haha.
MadDog Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 My Sister though it would be funny to buy me a Ben10 one, yay :/
EEVILMURRAY Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 Let's face it, you're not exactly missing much. Waiting for Christmas is bad enough without being teased by tiny bits of chocolate! Perhaps, but if you're going to be teased by Argos adverts, Gok Wan on a WHSmith advert, or Richard Hammond wanting fresh trifle/whatever "made from scratch" [if he could just stop pushing that trolley around and made it himself], you might as well get a nice choccy piece everyday.
Iun Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 what like this http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B001U3ZMRC?ie=UTF8&tag=instantwebsit-21&linkCode=as2&camp=1634&creative=19450&creativeASIN=B001U3ZMRC YOU. ARE. SHITTING. ME. Someone scratch my eyes out, I don't want to see anything ever again, for I have glimpsed Heaven.
martinist Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 I used to get an advent calender every year when i was about 10 years old or so. Don't get them any more now. I remember one year we got three of them just to eat the chocolate out of one of them, and keep the other two for the rest of the month.

My friend also contacted (on my behalf) Sharwoods, telling them to give the guy or gal who came up with the ingredient quantities for their Korma sauce a fucking promotion. Didn't get a response on that one though.
Shorty Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 I got a Toy Story advent calendar yay, I am loved. Thanks to everyone who gave tips on where to buy a Pick 'n' Mix. Although in the end, on my way to WH Smith, I walked past a huge outdoor one in centre of Sheffield that's been put up just for Christmas, so I went there Although since only half the sweets were covered, I had to sift through and dig deep to avoid ones with little bits of fluff on ¬_____¬
Paj! Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 I got a Winnie The Pooh one (lovely). I hate how it's the "cheap" Kinnerton range though...no pictures behind the window = pointless. I'd rather a picture than a chocolate.
