Jonnas Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 Some new stuff from your friendly neighbourhood Serebii Joe ALL Pokémon will follow you Kanto is In New areas to exist in Johto. One is to the west of the National Park Pre-Order Figures. Ho-Oh for Gold, Lugia for Silver, Arceus for both First of all, OMG Steelix is following the guy! Awesome. Second, this second area is accessed by sea, right? Otherwise, it will be a very small area...
Serebii Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 Na its a small area, Its one of a few additions to Johto from the looks of things. There's more pics and stuff on my site. It also confirmed the Arceus stuff I posted a few days ago
Ike Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 Should be interesting to see how some of the Pokemon will follow you (such as fish Pokemon like Magikarp). Hopefully the UK will get those preorder bonuses as well, might hold off importing this time.
Emasher Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 Hopefully we get those bonuses in Canada. For Diamond and Pearl we got a low quality DS case rather than the styluses the US got. Either way, I shall be pre-ordering.
mcj metroid Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 seem to be a better scence of scale with the graphics.. the buildings look much bigger than the chacter i think
Guest Captain Falcon Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 seem to be a better scence of scale with the graphics.. the buildings look much bigger than the chacter i think Except in the shot where the player is standing right next to a Steelix...
mcj metroid Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 Except in the shot where the player is standing right next to a Steelix... no no forget the pokemon.. background wise.. even the signposts look bigger if you check the scans.. it looks much better
Dante Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 Why does imageshack resize the images in the thumbnail link I dont want to resize in the first place?
Blue_Ninja0 Posted June 12, 2009 Author Posted June 12, 2009 The pedometer thing is an awesome idea! What will happen if I put Wailord following me in the game? And there are new areas in Johto? And Cynthia appears? This game keeps getting better and better.
Emasher Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 Why does imageshack resize the images in the thumbnail link I dont want to resize in the first place? If you look at the embed options on the imageshack page, there are urls for both.
Ike Posted June 13, 2009 Posted June 13, 2009 The new menu interface looks great, looks a lot faster as well. I really like the new Pokedex interface as well, I though it was a calendar at fist though.
EEVILMURRAY Posted June 13, 2009 Posted June 13, 2009 Team Rocket yay. Bollocks to those substandard clones.
mcj metroid Posted June 14, 2009 Posted June 14, 2009 lol @ the EU blocking the slot machines. are they doing it for this game as well?
Emasher Posted June 14, 2009 Posted June 14, 2009 Out of curiosity, what are gambling laws like in Europe? I still don't see why they can't just put simulated gambling in the rating description and be done with it.
Ganepark32 Posted June 14, 2009 Posted June 14, 2009 It's not so much the gambling laws that they are trying to get around but the age rating. Pokemon has always been a 3+ and with the BBFC and PEGI being harsher now on ratings, compared to how they were, having the slot machines in would bring the game to a 10+ or higher rating which Nintendo don't want.
mcj metroid Posted June 14, 2009 Posted June 14, 2009 They said the'll do it for all future games oh dear.. pity because gold/silver had one of the most fun versions of the game corner..
Gizmo Posted June 14, 2009 Posted June 14, 2009 Not that it will make any difference - importing will be cheaper and faster anyway.
mcj metroid Posted June 14, 2009 Posted June 14, 2009 I suppose so.. but still would 10+ really make a massive difference? I mean surely kids under 10 woulnt understand the serious and parents would take anything like that serious anyway? What parent would be like... no no timmy this game is rated 10+ your NINE!
Ganepark32 Posted June 15, 2009 Posted June 15, 2009 Yeh. I think regardless of a 10+ rating, it's Pokemon and it's not going to alienate those under that age rating because parents will see the brand name and buy it and many of them won't even use the game corner so you know, perhaps they should just include it as it's not going to have much of an affect on sales.
mcj metroid Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 (edited) I don't reeally get the last part.. but double battles and graphically improved battle scenes too? cool Nice shadow effects in the forest too.. Edited June 19, 2009 by mcj metroid
Serebii Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 The last part, as I reported last week, has you taking Arceus to some special Ruins. While there, you go select Dialga, Palkia or Giratina and Arceus will create it for you at Level 1
