Since it only has one track from my favourite band, and none from my second, I'm not uninstalling iTunes just yet, but it is pretty useful.

Adverts are few and far between and the sound quality is good enough as makes no odds (to me at least).

Lacuna Coil - 1 song

Mad Capsule Markets - 1

AC/DC - No songs, just tributes and junk. Although they seem to avoid all interweb based stuff.

Not a great start, although it does have a few of my other favourite songs/bands.

Ah right.

So is there any way to get the music from here onto the iPod or is there different programs I need to use for that? I don't want to pay 79p for a song anymore seeing as everyone else is getting their stuff for zilch.

Now it's free Dan, where shall I start with Mogwai? Seen as you go on about them so! :heh:

ooooh ooh!

I like this bit!

Ok i'd probably start with Young team. First album too, so that's nice. From there you could go two ways- if you prefer your Mogwai to rock out and blow your face off with baddass you should check out Mr Beast and it's sequel The hawk is Howling (their two most recent albums) or, if you prefer their more introspective, gentler stuff you should check out Happy Songs for Happy People, Rock Action and Come On Die Young. Those three are a bit slower, with some really beautiful tunes on.

Spotify appears to be a radiostation, of sorts, so you're streaming not downloading, so no chance of thiefing it :P

oh and one more thing: Mogwai are an albums band. Don't pick and choose songs if you can help it. Their style often revolves around a core idea in each album, with individual tracks building from a sigular foundation. They're made to be listened to whole for full effect :)

I bought CODY, and it never really grabbed me. At some point I'll try out the more recommended stuff though, like you say.

They're high on my list.

as a massive Mogwai Fan, I only just got all of CODY myself and it's way less accessible than almost all their other albums. I can see why you found it alienating - it's a terrible first choice! (not that would have known)

Young team is where it's at. Follow my course of education! :heh:

Two things for this particular thread. You can click "Copy HTTP Link" and it'll give you a proper link. But you need to have spotify closed to make it work.

Also if you do just list it to prevent any 'colon p' becoming :p use the following code:

[noparse][noparse]SPOTIFY LINK[/noparse][/noparse]

eg goaferboy's becomes:

[noparse]spotify:user:goaferboylaylist:2GpzIdjAD0iuaqKQao mVzk[/noparse]
