Paj! Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 I've actually got a sore throat, from predicting the result of this one. It literally pains me to put this match up, knowing Bjork will lose. The fish Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 I vote for Red Hot Chilli Peppers - not their best song by a long shot, but I'm find Bjork grating. *takes cover*
Roostophe Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 That Bjork song was like one of those tape head cleaners, it made the music you listen to afterwards sound better. Suck My Kiss is not the best RHCP song, no way, but it was still better than that dreary Bjork shite. Vote: Red Hot Chili Peppers
Paj! Posted December 19, 2008 Author Posted December 19, 2008 *takes cover* than that dreary Bjork shite Don't worry, I'm trying not to say anything this round. I'm already feeling what I imagine to be what bereavment feels like. ---- As many times as I've listened to All Is Full Of Love in it's various versions on my iTunes/iPod (141), and watched the video (one of the best ever in the history of music videos IMO), I still get shivers down my spine. Without a doubt, Bjork. I quite like the Chillis. This song was only OK though.
S.C.G Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 Red Hot Chilli Peppers Btw out of curiosity are the chosen two songs (from the ones that have been nominated) for each match drawn up randomly?
Paj! Posted December 20, 2008 Author Posted December 20, 2008 Red Hot Chilli Peppers Btw out of curiosity are the chosen two songs (from the ones that have been nominated) for each match drawn up randomly? OF COURSE! Do you think I'd put up my favourite song in this whole contest against something I know it'd lose to, If I could pit ones of my choosing together?! *sorry*
Twozzok Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 RHCP So much more interesting then the Bjork song.
chairdriver Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 All Is Full Of Love is my favouriye song ever, and I'm not evej lying. Bjork.
Dyson Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 Also voting for RHCP. Suck my Kiss is somewhat a classic.
chairdriver Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 Suck my Kiss is somewhat a classic. Where AIFoL is too fgood to even be in the same category as classics, because the wrd classic reminds you of old people.
chairdriver Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 Actually, it was a piss boring song. Only a boring person would get bored listening to yhat song, Acyia;;u is something my ears love listening to. I could have it on repeat and still love oit.
EchoDesiato Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 The Bjork song was great, but I just have more fun listening to Suck My Kiss. Fun is usually the decisive factor when it comes to music for me, so I vote for RHCP.
Paj! Posted December 20, 2008 Author Posted December 20, 2008 *choke* All Is Full Of Love - 3 Suck My Kiss - 6
ReZourceman Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 God that video scares the bejeesus girl out of me.
chairdriver Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 Considering it was made in 1999, when CGI had only just begun to be used, the video for All Is Full Of Love is one of the best things I've ever seen in my life. And I love how atmospheric the song sounds. Like, it sounds like it was recorded in a lovely Icelandic booth/cave, filled with metallic objects.
rokhed00 Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 Fun is usually the decisive factor when it comes to music for me Couldn't agree more. RHCP
Molly Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 As soon as I saw this I immediately thought I'd be voting for RHCP as I've always liked them and never got into Bjork. Now I've listened to both in full, it's difficult making a comparison on two songs that are so utterly different. But I'm voting for All is full of love, it was just beautiful. I thought the video was ace, it seems I like robotic love.

Eenuh Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 I thought the video was ace, it seems I like robotic love. Who doesn't? =P But yeah, I just love the song, so relaxing too.
Slaggis Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 I'm not going to bother voting because the Bjork one annoys me because it doesn't "flow" properly (Not going to explain what I mean, I don't see the point) whilst the other is just terrible.
