What WHAT WHAT!!!

I didn't know that those 2 classic games were unlockables, going to have to keep an eye on ebay for those two games.

I thought it wasn't in the GC version?! :o

Anyway...vid looks good for dev. Looks like Smash Bros tbh. Graphics look better in motion. Lots of colour.

April is nothing like the April I know and love though from TMHT, she's some stupid wannabe ninja.

Meh. Liked her in the 2007 film.

She has taken up martial arts training from Splinter, purchasing a suit and armor from Japan and becoming skilled in the use of katana, apparently leaving behind her past as a 'damsel in distress'. This is demonstrated as April and Karai fight it out while Casey, Splinter and the other turtles battle the Foot in order to save Leonardo. This appears to be corroborated in a collectible booklet packed in with her action figure for the film, which implies that she has become a master of the katana. The figure itself includes a katana, tonfa, and two shoulder armor pads; this outfit would be replicated for the film. It is also noted that in the beginning of the film, she wears something similar to Lara Croft's normal outfit.

Looking ten times better than the last gameplay footage that was seen.

I think I'm excited about this again! :yay:

I saw those, really looking forward to this game now. Gamespot live show at E3 had the devs play the game a little for them yesterday. The Video is up now:

A release date has been set.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Smash Up! was an absolute blast. There were a ton of games at E3 that I wanted more hands-on time with, but TMNT: Smash Up! is sitting towards the top of my list. Smash Bros. fans, you're right to have been paying attention to this one.

If you're in Europe, you now have a release date to look forward to. TMNT: Smash Up! is set to come out on September 25th, 2009...so go put down your preorder cash now!

there really isn't that much choice is there.

Yeah... Like eight characters and five stages or something. Seriously, if they want us to buy this, they're going to have to up the ante (especially because comparisons with SSB aren't far away).

Aren't there other characters, though? I can think of 5 from the original series, at least.

Anyway, the game looks good. But anyone hoping for a lot of variety is in for a disappointment. Despite the similarities with SSB, this game was still made from the ground up. They need to start small, out of necessity.

IGN have a short new trailer up, reveals 3 more characters:

no idea what that robot thing is, I'm guessing its from the recent cartoon series?

So a Foot Soldier/Ninja, and Casey Jones as expected.

Utrominator basically looks like a rip-off of Krang in his body mech suit!?

ULtominatpr looks fucking awful!! I hate all this N64 comparison, but when he flies out with that STUPID noise that makes the game look like a spoof, it actually does look like an N64 game (though the vi quality is awful so that may have something to do with it).

The game looks SLOW too.... I hope they don't eff this game up!
