I'm only posting because I see a lot of pidgeon-holing here, and its really quite saddening. Why can't a straight guy like hsm? That's fine. I don't think anyone questioned his sexuality, he just knew that he enjoyed something. He also said HSM3 was a better film than Quantum of Solace: "High School Musical knows what it's doing", whereas Bond is "all over the shot" (I think a few may be disappointed with QoS, but that's for a totally different discussion). Posted October 27, 2008 Share Posted October 27, 2008 Shouldn't there be a diffrentiation between a genuine desire to purchase a ticket to this film in order to seek the same enjoyment one would of a normal film, and then people I know who just go in big groups for the sheer laugh of it (Half the joke is the fact they are going to see it...)? Did they jump up and applaud when the movie ended? I don't understand how seeing a film must inturn mean your sexuality should be questioned. Um I shall not be seeing it (not in any strict way, bits here and there, mostly when im in the disney store, perhaps but won't sit down and watch it all). Watched the first and I do enjoy a good awful musical, can be a great escapist activity, but I just didn't like it. Perhaps a bit too squeeky clean for me. Reminds me of when I caught an episode of the new power rangers a year or two ago. Its like "you're teenagers. You'd so be having sex right now!". Alas, I digress. There are a lot of reasons: 1 - I don't want to help Disney with their so called "Rebellious Generation", just give me cool cartoons like you used too, don't mess them up with CGI and i'l be happy, this cheesiness about teenagers its making my head hurt. 2 - Musicals, I HATE MUSICALS 3 - Zac Efron, he and the Band guys (Jon Brothers or something like that) are seriously annoying me, why don't they do model if they are so pretty? WHY RUIN THE MOVIE INDUSTRY?
