I don't know if its just me but the future wii games really seem to be lacking in quality.

Currently I'm only looking forward to:

Wario land shake it

De blob

Captain rainbow (not sure if it will make it out side japan alla giftopia)

Animal crossing (although it doesn't seem to different)

STRONG BAD!! (also out on PC)

Mad world

And that's about it really....

There seems to be too many casual games that are only being made to cash in on the current market. Its a real shame, I miss the old days.

I think its safe to say that Celebrity Sports Showdown is enough to make anyone cringe.

So my question it, what's everyone else looking forward to (announced games that have been shown off only)?

Sky Crawler

Mad World

The Conduit

Even though I'm sure something's missing, that's the shortest list I've EVER had.

After reading this thread, I decided to add a few:

Call of Duty World at War

Quantum of Solace

Disaster Day of Crisis

Dead Rising Chop till you Drop

Still, not too long of a list. Surelly a few will turn out badly.

I'm only really looking forward to Kid Icarus (if it exists) and the next Zelda, but, I am satisfied with any Nintendo console as long as it has a really good Mario and Zelda. We've got Mario, but not Zelda!

I have so many things to buy :'(, and so little money.

I decided to buy Okami, a good old Zelda Clone with painting added to it is always good, no matter what the reviews say :D

Im planning in buying Wario Land, The Conduit, Fragile, Mad World (But playing it without my parent's seeing it, they wouldn't take that much violence), Animal Crossing (Even if its just for his online, not only it would be cool to talk with my friends as it would be good to practice my English with the members of my English Forums :D), Deadly Creatures, etc.

Some of them, i'l have to use my sister to buy them, im thinking of making my sister buying Wario Land by convincing her ("Look, its just like New Super Mario Bros, but with Wario making farts, camooon, you would love this")

I still have some money, it should give me plenty of games to play the rest of this year (advantage in buying Nintendo Wii one year later after his release ^^)

Certainly looks like the conduit is massively popular already :D

GHero for me. And DDoC if it ever comes...

on any other system the conduit would be overlooked but we're starving for games so much that we even thought atari (godforbid) could make a great game to help us...

Screw everything else, just give me a new Star Fox (a WORTHY succesor to Lylat Wars) and I'll be a happy man for the coming decade !!!

This needs to happen. :) I need my Starfox Fix, although it needs to be much better than assault! I'm talking Lylat Wars with some niffty Wii controls. :D

*gets his head out of the clouds*

Ok so from what has been announced (and what I can remember off the top of my head) I'm looking forward to:

Wario Land: Shake It (this looks fantastic: Day one for me! :))

Animal Crossing: City Folk (A must have for me I love Animal Crossing)

De Blob ( I love the look and feel and everything about this game and I'm not sure why?)

Wii Sports Resort (Wii-motion plus sword fighting is what I need)

MadWorld (Trailer oozed insane amounts of awesome :yay:)

Call of Duty 5 (I hope the controls are good)

Red Steel 2 (if done right and time and effort is put in.)

Dead Rising Chop till you Drop (the title alone is worthy of a purchase)

Disaster Day of Crisis (if it ever comes out!)

The Conduit (Looks great but I'm still skeptical!)

Tales of Symphonia (I missed the one on GC >____< not this time!)

Samba di Amigo (MONKEYS!)

Captain Rainbow (Even if it's just so I can shout TIME FOR SOME CAPTAIN PAIN BOW at the TV. :p)

Sonic Unleashed (looking good so far)

Mushroom Men (lol, again I'm drawn in by the title. :heh:)

Already out:

Zak and Wiki

Okami

Super Paper Mario

Out of all these games I'll probably end up with about 3 or 4 of them. Unless I get a job!

Whats coming out this year? Is there anything?

that was kinda my point when i started this thread.

There aren't to many exclusives that seem to be great games, it sucks!

Just noticed that no one has mentioned strong bad! shame on you!

There are really many good games coming out actually. There just aren't a lot of fantastic games.

Good games:

The Conduit

Mushroom Men: Spore Wars

Animal Crossing

Fatal Frame IV

Mad World

Call of Duty 5

De Blob

SimCity Creator

Samba de Amigo

Tales of Symphonia 2

Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop

Fragile

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed

Cursed Mountain

Overlord: Dark Legend

Sky Crawler

Shaun White Snowboarding

Lego Indiana Jones/Batman (these games are awesome)

Guitar Hero

Disaster: Day of Crisis (if coming out at all)

Though not all of them will be out this year, each of them is giving me (sorry for being like Solitanze) a vibe that they will score 80%-ish, though none of them is going to be a classic. There's really going to be enough to play.

And then there's still Pikmin 3, which I think is going to come out a lot earlier than is expected. Also, I think we might see a Resident Evil title quite soon, but more likely next year. Furthermore, I demand Nintendo to finish/kick/pipe money into/pipe Miyamoto into the Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers project. It was looking far, far too awesome to get cancelled.

You'll notice there are relatively few sequels on that list, so that's a good thing hopefully.
