Jon Posted May 20, 2010 Posted May 20, 2010 And this, never forget this: My bad. How I could I forget the third character! Doh.
jayseven Posted May 21, 2010 Posted May 21, 2010 Yes! I watch supernatural. A couple of weeks behind atm due to a dead laptop, but yes the show gets better and better. I'd say season 4 was a bit of a letdown, despite several very clever episodes that were presented as 'narrative' episodes. Season 5 continues the explosion in story, but I think there's been a lot more filler that hasn't been necessary. Oh and Supernatural used to be on Fridays straight after smallville. As far as I'm aware (which isn't very, so I'm almost certainly massively wrong), this season was teh only time it aired on a different day.
canand Posted May 21, 2010 Posted May 21, 2010 NBC are beep beep because they cancelled "Heroes." that is my fravourte program thanks NBC

LegoMan1031 Posted May 21, 2010 Posted May 21, 2010 Oh. Well, point made useless I guess :P However this season coming has supernatural and smallville both on friday nights! Hence where you have got the details mixed up!
Jon Posted May 23, 2010 Posted May 23, 2010 However this season coming has supernatural and smallville both on friday nights! Hence where you have got the details mixed up! Correct, and as Jay said, last season was the only time since both shows have been on the air that they haven't been on concurrently.
Ashley Posted May 23, 2010 Posted May 23, 2010 Fuck me gently with a chainsaw! Glee has been renewed for a THIRD season already. Just goes to show television is, bottomline, a business over creativity.
Paj! Posted May 23, 2010 Posted May 23, 2010 It might get better. *not hopeful* A TV show has to have SOMETHING significant happen in it within 3 seasons. (I'm terrified though...I've actually liked some of the performances from recent episodes....something must be wrong.)
ipaul Posted May 26, 2010 Posted May 26, 2010 Fuck me gently with a chainsaw! Glee has been renewed for a THIRD season already. Just goes to show television is, bottomline, a business over creativity. I watched Heathers again recently

Dante Posted June 2, 2010 Posted June 2, 2010 New Thundercats Cartoon FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE THUNDERCATS, HO! WARNER BROS. ANIMATION ANSWERS THE CALL WITH A NEW TAKE ON THE CLASSIC ANIMATED SERIES “THUNDERCATS,” TO AIR ON CARTOON NETWORK – Warner Bros. Animation (WBA) has begun production on “ThunderCats,” an all-new animated series for Cartoon Network, based upon the iconic 1980s action classic. “ThunderCats” is the newest series from WBA, joining “Batman: The Brave and the Bold,” which was recently renewed for a third season, and the following forthcoming programs: “The Looney Tunes Show,” “MAD,” “Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated” and “Young Justice.” The announcement was made today by Sam Register, Executive Vice President, Creative Affairs, Warner Bros. Animation. “In addition to being Warner Bros. Animation’s first anime series, ‘ThunderCats’ marks our most ambitious foray yet into fantasy,” said Register. “The realism and dynamic visual style we’ve achieved are sure to thrill viewers, and the cool weapons, vehicles and technology should help the show appeal to a diverse audience.” The 21st century reimagining of the series marks a creative collaboration between WBA and Studio4°C, one of the most vibrant animation studios in Japan, with credits including “The Animatrix,” “Gotham Knights” and “Halo Legends.” WBA is working closely with Studio4°C, utilizing the latter’s expertise to give the “ThunderCats” characters a new cutting-edge look while remaining true to the compelling storylines and mythology of the original series. “We at Studio4°C are excited to be in this creative partnership with Warner Bros. Animation to bring ‘ThunderCats’ to life,” said Eiko Tanaka, President and CEO, Studio4°C. “This collaboration combines the strengths of our two companies – high production values and great storytelling – toward reintroducing this classic fan-favorite to a new audience.” Roaring to life through WBA and Studio4°C’s use of the Japanese animated artistry of anime, “ThunderCats” characters Lion-O, Mumm-Ra, Panthro, Cheetara and others will spring off the screen with realistic cat-like characteristics inconceivable in previous incarnations. The new “ThunderCats” will appeal to viewers who have loved the characters all their lives as well as young newcomers to the franchise. A sweeping tale combining swords and science and boasting ferocious battles with the highest of stakes, the grand origin story of Prince Lion-O’s ascension to the throne – and of those who would thwart his destiny at any cost – takes on epic dimensions in this sharp new telling. As the forces of good and evil battle each other in the quest for the fabled Stones of Power, Lion-O and his champions learn valuable lessons of loyalty, honor and mortality in every episode. “ThunderCats” is executive produced by Sam Register (“Teen Titans,” “Ben 10,” “Batman: The Brave and the Bold”). Michael Jelenic (“Batman: The Brave and the Bold,” “Wonder Woman”) and Ethan Spaulding (“Avatar: The Last Airbender”) are the producers.
ReZourceman Posted June 2, 2010 Author Posted June 2, 2010 They should get the original writer to lend a hand. (Too soon)
Dante Posted June 2, 2010 Posted June 2, 2010 They should get the original writer to lend a hand. (Too soon) Yes, having cancer and getting murdered. Police in Florida this week said 56-year-old Stephen Perry, who wrote for the 1980s cartoon series Thundercats, was murdered. The man had gone missing for nearly two weeks, and police reportedly found his arm inside of his abandoned van on the grounds of a Tampa Bay hotel May 16.
ReZourceman Posted June 2, 2010 Author Posted June 2, 2010 Yes, having cancer and getting murdered. To clarify, its cos his arm was severed off. ie it had a pun, not just a general death insult.
Ashley Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 Not really news but interesting (to some) nonetheless: Inside the Writer's Room. A roundtable of writers including Deric A. Hughes (Warehouse 13), Zack Stentz (Fringe, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles), Amy Berg (Eureka, The 4400) and Jane Espenson (Caprica, Battlestar Galactica, Buffy the Vampire Slayer), John Rogers (Leverage, The Jackie Chan Adventures), and Javier Grillo-Marxuach (The Middleman, Lost). Discussing what its like to be a TV writer.
Ashley Posted June 17, 2010 Posted June 17, 2010 For those who haven't heard Entourage is back on the 27th. A new 8-episode season will be its final one next year but there's good chances there will be a movie. Thomas Dekker (Sarah Connor Chronicles, Heroes) has been cast in HBO's 'Cinema Veritie', a TV movie that is "a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the groundbreaking 1970s documentary "An American Family." Also stars Tim Robbins, James Gandolfini and Diane Lane also starring. "When "American Family" premiered on PBS in 1973, it was the first show to document a real-life family dealing with such problems as divorce and sexual identity." Also Dekker may be taking the lead in the Footloose remake apparently (after Crawford dropped out). News to me... And I'm probably the only one who cares but once again the final two episodes of Better Off Ted have been postponed again
gmac Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 Interview with Robert Kirkman about The Walking Dead TV show
jayseven Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 Cannot wait for this show. Andrew Lincoln too?! I didn't realise that! Fantastic
Dan_Dare Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 no me. I can't wait for it even more. I have an equation to back me up, so don't make me use it.
Ashley Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 Party Down Cancelled Although not entirely unexpected due to ratings and Starz seems to be going in a different kind of direction. Oh well, two good years. CBS picks up 'Mad Love' for Midseason The half-hour revolves around a quartet of single friends in New York City -- two who are falling in love and two who despise each other, at least initially. Sounds average but it stars Jason Biggs, Sarah Chalke, Judy Greer and Tyler Labine so it could be okay.
