dwarf Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 Those issues you have in Unch are more prevalent at the start of the game, plus I don't think the sequel suffers from that at all. As for Motorstorm, the lack of replays is lame. However, the insistence on the comparison to Excite Truck is ridiculous, they control nothing like each other. Motorstorm is a much more weighty and precise affair, whilst ExciteTruck is about flair and pulling off quick, reactive manoeuvres.
Shorty Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 Uncharted? Pah. It's a decent game but these days its just a rite of passage to the awesomeness of Uncharted 2
Cube Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 Uncharted? Pah. It's a decent game but these days its just a rite of passage to the awesomeness of Uncharted 2 You're completely right. Finished Uncharted and started Uncharted 2. Just got to Nepal and it's brilliant so far. I'm enjoying it much more than the first one.
Cookyman Posted February 22, 2011 Posted February 22, 2011 http://blog.us.playstation.com/2011/02/10/in-the-trenches-with-killzone-3-socom-4-and-the-playstation-move-sharp-shooter/ New vid for the sharpshooter. Showing improved SOCOM graphics(and KZ3). Worth pointing out that if people remotely liked KZ3 Move controls then SOCOM Move will blow you away. Good vid - a major departure from Link's Crossbow Training!
The Lillster Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 Good vid - a major departure from Link's Crossbow Training! Too bad it costs a lot more. Link's Cross Bow training + Wii Zapper only costs £18. The sharp shooter costs £34.99 (excluding a game).
Cube Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 (edited) The sharp shooter costs £34.99 (excluding a game). As well as Move (£39.99) and the Navigation Controller (£17.99). Edited February 23, 2011 by Cube
Daft Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 I'm pretty sure the sharp shooter has a Nav controller built in.
Cube Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 (edited) I'm pretty sure the sharp shooter has a Nav controller built in. Edit: Strangely, GAME have a Killzone 3/Move/Sharpshooter bundle for £164.99. Buying all that separately from GAME costs £152.99 (and £138.96 if you buy from elsewhere). Edited February 23, 2011 by Cube
Daft Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 Huh, I swear there was a gun thing that had controls in it. Even if it were all £30, I'd still think it was unnecessary tat, tbh. That price is a farce.
flameboy Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 (edited) Big difference between this and Link's Crossbow. I approve. For SOCOM. not in the actual function that this plastic piece of shit does. Edited February 23, 2011 by flameboy
Cube Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 The link crossbow thingy is just a plastic shell. You all fail. As opposed to a plastic shell with three buttons?
dwarf Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 The link crossbow thingy is just a plastic shell. You all fail. Absolute genius!
LegoMan1031 Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 (edited) The link crossbow thingy is just a plastic shell. You all fail. Yeah true (minus the fail ) but... Not a £130+ difference, I bet you. Edited February 23, 2011 by Mike1988uk
Daft Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 Yeah, I'm all for weird ways of playing games that I never want to bother with but I do have a problem with the price.
flameboy Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 The link crossbow thingy is just a plastic shell. You all fail. It's isn't just plastic shell...it has one button and the back/bottom comes off for you to neatly put away the wires and it comes with a hole for the IR on the front the wiimote. BOOOOOOOOOOOM
Wii Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 @ flameboy Did you get my PM regarding Monster Hunter 3?
dwarf Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 Been borrowing the original Modern Warfare today, Christ it's pretty damn fun. The snipers are awesome, which I'm not usually a fan of, but when you're creaming up on free-for-all with one it's a different story. Martyrdom is ridiculous though.
flameboy Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 @ flameboy Did you get my PM regarding Monster Hunter 3? no i didn't notice it! will read and reply now! Been borrowing the original Modern Warfare today, Christ it's pretty damn fun. The snipers are awesome, which I'm not usually a fan of, but when you're creaming up on free-for-all with one it's a different story. Martyrdom is ridiculous though. there still a lot of people playing it then? Surprised considering theres been what 3 games out since?
dwarf Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 Yeah, it still stacks up well against other shooters because it does play very well.
MATtheHAT Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 there still a lot of people playing it then? Surprised considering theres been what 3 games out since? I still play it from time to time. CoD4 is still the best CoD game. Also........... You all fail. Bitches.
