flameboy Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 I can't believe this is more expensive to download rather than buy instore...
Guest Stefkov Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 ...So I'll have to pay more for the full game later? That's...shit.
Caris Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 It's hardly a demo, it's a Prologue. There's a difference. The full game isn't even out till next year and this Prologue has 70+ cars, 6 tracks and full online. It's more of a short game.
Hero-of-Time Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 The game pretty much had 1 million preorders in Europe alone. I cant post a link as im on the PS3 but just type in gt prologue 1 million into google. Not bad for a demo Just finished C & B class races this morning. I can get gold on the normal races but the overtaking and time trials are a different matter altogether.

Hero-of-Time Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 Lots of people don't seem to know that it isn't the full game... True, but not 1 million though I can see why people say its just a demo though. You get around 60-70 cars with about 40 races to do. Sure it has online racing in it aswell but it is just a taster for the game which is due out next year.
Domstercool Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 Lots of people don't seem to know that it isn't the full game... And yet truth be told it last longer than a lot of full games out there.
Falcon_BlizZACK Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 And yet truth be told it last longer than a lot of full games out there. You get me doe? Every trashy, half-arsed racer (namely) for the Wii has nothing on this!
Demuwan Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 You get me doe? Every trashy, half-arsed racer (namely) for the Wii has nothing on this! Yeh, you have a point there. But year of the PS3 ? Don't quite agree with that label.
Falcon_BlizZACK Posted April 8, 2008 Posted April 8, 2008 Yeh, you have a point there. But year of the PS3 ? Don't quite agree with that label. So who's playing this? Don't you just love the classy, chill-out garage music? And why can't you agree to this year being about the PS3? Blockbusters be coming.
Choze Posted April 8, 2008 Author Posted April 8, 2008 the game is devilishly addictive. I want the F2007 F1 car but i want so many other cars. I cant beleive i even bothered renting Pro street. Driving in that game was like trying to turn a train.
Domstercool Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 Ah, only just noticed the new GT TV vids on the section. Coolness
Domstercool Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 They did a Prologue with GT4 didn't they? Yeah, but I'd say this is more of a game than the GT4 prologue one was.
flameboy Posted April 10, 2008 Posted April 10, 2008 you can get this for £39.98 with a sixaxis at game...great way to get a second controller if like me your not really really bothered by rumble....
Falcon_BlizZACK Posted April 10, 2008 Posted April 10, 2008 To be honest now...Behind the 'super realistic' graphics, this game is nothing spectacular. It still feels like the same game released, like what, 5-6 years ago? :/. I can still make a corner at full speed by side-bumping into another car...But that isn't very realistic is it? This game just reminded me on why I was displeased with the PS3. Now games like Wipeout which i was looking forward to (namely due to the 'inspirational' graphics), I feel underneath the spit and polish lies pretty much the same experience of last decade.
Domstercool Posted April 10, 2008 Posted April 10, 2008 It is only a demo though. It's just a testing phase, the full game will have a lot more features inc damage. Also if you do use cars as barriers then you are gonna be in shock when penalties are introduced. Man I just got the GT-R. I've been using the cockpit views (Woo at the GT-R dials all doing the functions) as it's an awesome camera setting, better than PGR's as you can actually see where you are driving, you couldn't most of the time in PGR.

Especially once you get good cars its even stricter. Also for GT5P everything was thrown away and started form scratch. But yeah i supposse you have a point even if all your points arent valid... lol.
Ryan Posted April 12, 2008 Posted April 12, 2008 Too used to using the triggers on Forza. Anyone use L2, R2 with Automatic? If so, does it help much?
