We're not going to move a conversation into another Thread randomly thanks. And to me it also seems like you're trying to start something, don't bother, dwarf's done nothing wrong. Seriously: what the hell? I'm not sure what you're talking about here. About the first part - the reason I said what has this got to do with MK is because you guys started talking about stickers and something about waiting til friday to get a magazine. I just don't see the point in posts like that. I also thought that a Magazine thread would just be quite good to discuss stuff like this (which is better NGamer or ONM, for example, although that one is obvious) which is why I informed you that such a thread existed. I never told you to go there, and it really isn't that random to talk about magazines in a magazine thread is it? Second - me starting something? Where's the post that this happens? I haven't started anything, and neither has Dwarf. As far as I was concerned we were just talking about whether or not I should import Brawl while waiting for this. That wasn't really starting anything, and the fact that I agree with a lot of things that Dwarf says (both in and out of this thread) makes me think that you're reading into things way too much. Again, back to Mario Kart, those videos on GameTrailers look great, and I agree with everyone talking about the speed - this game looks so much faster than DD, it seems so odd that the preview from ign (it was ign right? I can't remember!) said it was slower. It does look plenty fast enough. Also in one of the videos Bowser is almost constantly boosting! I know the textures aren't all the brilliant but I'm loving the amount of character animation as well as the amount of stuff going on in the backgrounds (Mii's as the crowd etc). MK I think 36 tracks is a good selection, and I hope they do a newly revamped Rainbow road, like usual. Thing is I'd like to see an epic track, or more larger tracks because it seems corners are being cut by listening to IGN, because lots of courses can be lapped in 30 seconds minus. Rummy Posted March 13, 2008 Share Posted March 13, 2008 I don't trust ONM much, I remember them giving rave reviews to 40 winks, but I don't remember hearing anything much about it after it came out. Nowadays I think it's best to get alot of reviews from various sources, and that's where gamerankings and gamefaqs comes in mighty handy! Despite the good reviews, I think I'm gonna pass up MKWii for a while, unless I start working again soon, cos I'm gonna go with dwarf's plan and import brawl instead methinks. Hmm this sounds good (incidentally I think we should start calling it the WiiL [geddit?] to fit with the wiimote etc) I have never really been that sure about GamesMaster for reviews but they generally get the high scorers right, so this is looking good.
