chairdriver
Thank you all! Can I nick a few of those A's, please? Hmm... how about no? Poor Biology, though its not really a science anyway... I puked in Biology like four different times; I'm really squeamish, so I gave it up. Now I've got to choose what highers/A-Levels I'm doing by tommorrow... Guest Stefkov
I took the Double Award which equals 4 GCSE's + DiDA an extra qualification I was well annoyed, only the 'soecial' people were able to take double award ICT. What's the point in that letting, lets face it, retarded people, to get more grades in a subject that some people are clearly better than them at. It baffled me. Not sure why your school opted for that... Besides the Double Award contained a shit load more work than the Single Award, My Portfolio contained Just under 1,000 pages.... I had to stay behind many a night to get stuff done... Besides It's not retarded people that got in their 2 People in my group got A*'s in Alot of their other subject so that analysis is pretty much bullshit to be honest... Guest Stefkov
It may not have been at your school but definitely in mine. There was these people I kinda knew who werent that bright. They got the option for it. I didn't.
Ant-Shimmin
It's 4 GCSE's but Colleges just count it for two when you apply for a non-computing relating course. It's a weird system but per Coursework unit it's 1 GCSE... Single Option do half the work per unit but only get two grades... Double Option do more work with abit Extra....and get 4 Grades In Year 10 we kicked off with a Pilot DiDA Course, which got me a B GCSE Grade, only very few people passed and it was i't first year. Edexcel who run both courses want to put DiDA in schools and take the GNVQ out, however DiDA changes it's criteria more than it's underwear It may not have been at your school but definitely in mine. There was these people I kinda knew who werent that bright. They got the option for it. I didn't. I thought that about a few people but their skills in programs such as Fireworks and advanced software.... Alot of smart people opted for the single option, mainly because they didn't see Computing as their career path. Unlike myself...
