Daft Posted July 2, 2007 Share Posted July 2, 2007 Thanks to this thread I had quite a disturbing dream....I was in a generic post apocolyptic world (homeless people everyhere, burning trash cans, burntout cars, the whole shabang....it was a bit like GoW) and there were loads of serial killers running around... All I can think to say is wow, that is one sick sick guy. Seems to be that he was beset by a combination of low self esteem, loneliness, alcoholism and simply a very twisted mind. Frankly I find myself pityng him more than condemning him, it seems he just had no control over his actions and no-one close enough to notice or try to stop him. Also, Oxigen_Waste, you given Murder Ballads by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds a listen. I think there are a few tracks on there you might like. I don't usualy like overly graphic violence, like in a torture sense, though i don't mind it in war films. The sadam execution had literaly no effect on me. I saw him die and it didn't upset me, or make me happy. I had no sympathy for the man yet seeing him die was like watching a bird fly past the window. Though I did feel slightly impressed by how he didn't beg or struggle, at least he died with some dignity, which his poor victems didn't have.
