Zechs Merquise Posted August 27, 2007 Posted August 27, 2007 The first is Solar Striker on the Gameboy!
Hellfire Posted August 27, 2007 Posted August 27, 2007 The first is Solar Striker on the Gameboy! You know so much it's actually disturbing.
darksnowman Posted August 28, 2007 Posted August 28, 2007 The first is Solar Striker on the Gameboy! And he's right, I thought that game was amazing! Anyway, the remaining one... the screenshot is from the Commodore 64 but I played the game on the Gameboy at the same time as I was playing Solar Striker- it was really good too!
Tetzcatlipoca Posted August 28, 2007 Posted August 28, 2007 hey i already posted waverace on the gameboy ha. Oops! It's a big topic!
steggy Posted August 29, 2007 Posted August 29, 2007 I must remember to visit this thread more often. Anyway here are a couple I remember playing quite a lot.

steggy Posted August 29, 2007 Posted August 29, 2007 Is that racing game Nigel Mansell? Don't forget that there's still one of my pics thats unanswered...! Nope not Nigel Mansell, Didn't realise, thought someone had got it but it was you giving hints about it I have no idea though.
darksnowman Posted August 29, 2007 Posted August 29, 2007 Is the first one Track and Field on the Nes? (If no one gets mine, I'm gonna take a point for it. )
steggy Posted August 29, 2007 Posted August 29, 2007 Is the first one Track and Field on the Nes? (If no one gets mine, I'm gonna take a point for it. ) Close, but I'll give it to you. It's Track and Field 2 on the NES. Is no2 F-1 race? Yup F1 Race on the GB, was wicked playing 4 players unless someone got stroppy and unplugged there link cable, which crashed the game, lol.
darksnowman Posted August 29, 2007 Posted August 29, 2007 I haven't forgotten the +1 for The Villan and Zechs for Forsaken and Solar Striker but we still haven't got this one: C'maan chaps.
Hellfire Posted August 29, 2007 Posted August 29, 2007 Rockstar table tennis for 360? :P [xbot/Sony Defense Force Mode] That's clearly the Wii version!
Patch Posted August 30, 2007 Author Posted August 30, 2007 C'maan chaps. I think it might be time for a clue. You said it was on Commodore 64 and NES?
darksnowman Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 Yeah, Commodore 64 is what the screenshot is and I know its also on the Gameboy too. It's two words. Will we start playing hangman?
darksnowman Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 You got the first word right. Its a 1985 arcade game if that helps, and also has some other names. The one I know it from is the only one you're gonna get the point for answering!

I thought Penguin Wars was pretty lethal, its also called King of the Zoo and Penguin-Kun Wars Vs. Well I've updated the scoreboard and I've taken the liberty of adding in my point and Hellfires from getting steggy's two pics aswell.
nekunando Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 The Penguin clue was enough.. Anyway, after a random search of the internet, I have plucked this picture from nowhere.. I have no idea what the game is or is about, I just have the name.. Perhaps here is also a slightly easier one (and one we actually have in our house)
mcj metroid Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 ha i made a guess cause it looked like a penguin plsu i swear I played it on nes before. Darksnowman you're evil.......but it did it forst so meh(:))
Patch Posted August 31, 2007 Author Posted August 31, 2007 The second one is Patrick Truman from Eastenders . . . er . . . oh.
nekunando Posted August 31, 2007 Posted August 31, 2007 The second one is Patrick Truman from Eastenders . . . er . . . oh. ..indeed it is I hid a couple of random pictures behind those that are present there by clicking on them.. but what is/are the actual game/games called? If need be, I can give a quote from an episode of Eastenders a few years ago which will give a clue as to what the second picture is.. and yes, the quote comes from Patrick Truman, hence the (very) subtle link..
nekunando Posted September 4, 2007 Posted September 4, 2007 ..ok.. well, the first game is called something similar to the second word of the name of a quite recent Oasis song with the lyrics "Calling all the stars to fall, And catch the silver sunlight in your hands". You may have to add or take away a letter. (Terrible clue I know) The second game I will touch on with a quote from an episode of Eastenders a few years ago in which Patrick Truman's son was killed. In a rage, Mr. Truman was shouting angrily outside someones house shouting "HUNTER, Where's ma son?!" Again, an awful clue.. but see if they help at all. Both games are from the 8-bit era..
