Gizmo Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 Phew. Lost 1-0 to Milan but Benfica won against Shakhtar so we go through anyway.
Goron_3 Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 Matthew Connolly scores as we take a 2-0 lead over Watford :awesome: Ahh well. We'll still be up top!
conzer16 Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 Good win for Leeds tonight. 3-0 against Port Vale at home. Needed to have a good win. Also chuffed to see Celtic through! Gwan the Bhoys!!
Guest Stefkov Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 Suprisingly good game Newcastle vs Arsenal. Thanks geordies you've closed the gap to 4 points. And you've gone to 10th in the table. Smith is such an awesome player, I love how he plays.
Noodleman Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 Ahh well. We'll still be up top! You won 3-2 tbh

Guest Stefkov Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 Course. You're pretty shit unless you need to do a job for someone. Expect your manager. Seem to do just shit for him. Shame Smith went there, and Nicky Butt. Ah well.
Babooo Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 Bit annoyed at the Arsenal score but the Geordies played well and we played utter shit in the second half. They could have easily got a winner so in the end, a point isn't too bad I guess. I'm just hoping we can start getting our injured players back like Cesc, Flamini, Hleb and Van Persie especially in time for the game against Chelsea on the 16th.
The-Ironflame Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 A tough game with Cesc and Hleb out who are the most important players for us in terms creativity and I'm happy with a point only thing is Ade should have cleared the ball instead of passing to Eduardo under pressure.
BlueStar Posted December 6, 2007 Posted December 6, 2007 Just got back from the match, we were the better team and deserved at least a draw. Good performance with lots of effort all round which is all we can ask for!
Fierce_LiNk Posted December 6, 2007 Posted December 6, 2007 I was out with an Arsenal fan yesterday, and the look on his face as Newcastle got the goal was great.

Max Posted December 8, 2007 Posted December 8, 2007 shambolic defending by villa must say, the defeat at arsenal last week seems to have really gotten to them. pompy are now 11 games and unbeaten
Roostophe Posted December 8, 2007 Posted December 8, 2007 Pompey got a bit lucky in the first half in my eyes. An own goal plus some missed chances by Martin Laursen that should have gone in. I have to concede that Muntari's goals were good, though. shambolic defending by villa must say, the defeat at arsenal last week seems to have really gotten to them. I'm putting it down to the "Manager of the Month" curse. Because everyone makes excuses...
Noodleman Posted December 8, 2007 Posted December 8, 2007 raped 4-1 by Cardiff and into the bottom 3. Can't see us getting out of it either. Sign some fucking defenders in January ffs no clean sheet in 18 games.
Fierce_LiNk Posted December 8, 2007 Posted December 8, 2007 raped 4-1 by Cardiff and into the bottom 3. Can't see us getting out of it either. Sign some fucking defenders in January ffs no clean sheet in 18 games. Funny enough, I was listening to the Man United game, and they were giving the half time scores. When the second half carried on and the score was now 4-1, I instantly thought "poor Noodles."
Roostophe Posted December 8, 2007 Posted December 8, 2007 *laughs* Everytime I see Colchester concede a goal, I think "I reckon Noodleman isn't happy about that!"
Fierce_LiNk Posted December 8, 2007 Posted December 8, 2007 Actually, it's not just with Colchester, but whenever I hear about a team playing, I start thinking about members on here. Arsenal - Ramar and Babooo Tottenham - That Guy Aston Villa - ...the Villan! Newcastle - Chuck Leeds - Conzer Colchester - Noodles.
Roostophe Posted December 8, 2007 Posted December 8, 2007 I do that as well. *Content sigh* It's nice to know that we're all in each other's thoughts, while we watch good ol' Soccer Saturday.
Dante Posted December 8, 2007 Posted December 8, 2007 Actually, it's not just with Colchester, but whenever I hear about a team playing, I start thinking about members on here. Roostophe Posted December 8, 2007 Posted December 8, 2007 Liverpool - Dante :p I think of Happenstance and Ant-Shimmin with teh Reds. But I'll now think of you because you rock.
Fierce_LiNk Posted December 8, 2007 Posted December 8, 2007 Who's our Resident Chelsea fan? Its Ellmeister, isn't it? There's somebody else, but I can't put my finger on it...
