Well we already know about Metroid so that doesn't count :heh:

It's to rub salt in Europes wounds, so Reggie stated all three again.

The only major news about release dates is that Metroid, Mario Galaxy and Brawl will hit USA in 2007.

and Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, I think out of those we will see SSBB and Zelda DS slip into next year for europe...

That would suck wouldn't it :heh:

I'm expecting Brawl this year in Europe.I see PH getting delayed and maybe Galaxy(for everyone),apart from that I think everything else will be fine.

EDIT - Found this about MP3,Galaxy,Brawl and Phanton Hourglass:

When asked for European release dates, a Nintendo UK rep said that no dates for these titles have been announced.

Given Nintendo's track record for heavily delayed European release dates, PAL gamers can be justifiably pessimistic about the big four making it to their local store this year.

Smash Bros. ain't playable or even there at the event then. Oh joy. It won't be out this year in Europe, I just know we're going to get screwed over.

I think it's much more likely that only the printed press people are getting to look at it.

There was some info there for the press - They were showing off the new Smash Bros Website.

Everybody's seen it coming for months now... One of the big three is not coming our way this year and Brawl is by far the most likely.

I don't I think it's Galaxy that will get delayed, and even IGN said that if it's one that will get delayed,it's Galaxy.

Brawl won't take that long to translate(assuming there starting soon)even if trophies are in it,it shouldn't take that long.

I used to think it would be Mario that would get delayed, and I still stand by my view that if we don't see Super Paper Mario by Q3 then we won't see Mario Galaxy this year.

But then I do have another view as well....Mario Galaxy is much more of a system seller for the Xmas rush. It is in many peoples view THE game that will deliver the definitive control scheme for the wiimote and nunchuk and a Mario platformer will bring even more gamers, perhaps people who used to play Mario as a kid got out of games and this is just too good to resist. However Smash Bros is much more a niche title for fan boys still, i think we won't get it till March...just a gut feeling....

I still reckon Smash could sell more than Mario and its more of a "hardcore" game. Hopefully none will get delayed: peace:

If the Wii's userbase is similar to the DS, Mario may be the better selling. Look at NSMB, for example.

Thats a good point. Ahh who cares I'm buying both:yay:

Yeah thats another perfect way of illustrating my point...That actually helps my point about bringing in old former gamers, as didn't the NSMB advert have a kid playing old school NES Mario and then fast forwarding years to him playing NSMB on a DS!

Demuwan you say SSBB is a hardcore game, at the moment the Wii is not hardcore console and if one game is to miss this year, i would think it will be SSBB because of this, they want a game that entice more casual gamers, and as much as it sucks to be a hardcore fan,as we could end up missing out....

I have a feeling Prime 3 wasn't at the event actually. On IGN Matt has a comment under part of Reggie's speech saying he wishes he showed off a demo of Prime 3, which seems like it was a subtle way for him to say it wasn't there.

I'd love it if it was though of course, I'm very interested in new footage as soon as possible.

Well I still believe SSBB will sell more, irrespective of casuals. I actually think a lot of casuals will enjoy SSBB and we'll enjoy kicking their asses online!

Fingers crossed for Disaster Day of Crisis, Hammer May Cry and No More Heroes... Oh, and the new Kirby for Wii.

And who knows, a new IP.

That would be unthinkable! Sad time we live in...
