chairdriver Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 Quoted from my Facebook status: "Miley Cyrus is the most obnoxious, immature and irritating bitch I've ever watched. Did you see her on Jonathon Ross? Literally rude. "My film's way better than Helen Mirren's!" Fuck off. "I'm number 1 in America." That's quite clearly because the general populace of USA have even LESS taste than the UK general populace. She can fuck right off, and come back when she's actually a real age."
Goafer Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 I wish I was even half as cool as these guys: And some other proper old songs:

Completely agree with this, she's got such a sickening sense of self-importance when in reality she is about as integral to this worlds survival as the plague... >> Now she may be confident yes but overly so, there's too much of it there; when on the show she also didn't appear to give a damn about anyone else but herself; I saw a clip of her film and what she 'sings' on the show and it just screams genericness :/ it's only really because she's preying off her fathers success and the infinite financial support of Disney that she got anywhere, I'm not denying that there must be some vague notion of 'work' involved but not in the conventional sense. Anyway, she's just not as important as she seems to think she is and tbh to the extent that she keeps remininding everyone that she apparently is, it's just both vomit enducing and cringeworthy. Now I'm not saying that everything she does is terrible, she's had lots of #1's etc but tbh they are more generic examples and not stuff that will be remembered in a decades time or even half of that; but I guess she makes some people feel happy which is good, I just wish that she'd be a little less self-centered so that the rest of us can feel Idk... a little less sickened? [/Rant]
Wesley Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 I'd never heard of her until she was on the news a couple of days ago. I say news, I mean BBC 24's stupid E segment. I think she was talking about how she was America's biggest star, that did not impress me at all.

Mammoth No I in Threesome Rest My Chemistry The Heinrich Maneuver Thats just tracks from their last album Our Love to Admire I could suggest others from their previous two albums but their newer stuff is definitely more accessible.
Dan_Dare Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 No I in Threesome on a mix to his girlfriend? hahahaha. I say yes for the ballsyness! seriously though: Pioneer To The Falls (also on their latest) is possibly my favorite opening track ever- so that'd be a great addition.

Exactly, it would be kind of unexpected but in a pleasant way... because, well it's a great track thats why. :p And yes, Pioneer to the Falls should be in there too (maybe as the first track on the mix) but I only suggested four thinking that at most only two tracks would be used being as it's a mix.
Dan_Dare Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 I say go for it if she has an open minded hot friend who you like but in a different way to her in a kind of always wondered way
Dyson Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 I was jokingly invited to a threesome once. Though to this day I'm not sure if it was really a joke or not. Ho hum!

I saw that, and thought it was obvious she was having a joke...or am I just being completely spesh? I thought she came of nicely in the interview (And Jay Leno's for that matter). I was laughing a fair few times throughout the interview, and loved her confidence. Then again, I suppose you're either going to take that confidence as being bitchy, or not. Meh. The only Cyrus I find annoying, is her father. He clings to her to get any press he can, it's embarassing. Edited April 25, 2009 by Slaggis

Aaha, yeah sadly I definitely lack the balls for that... I would love to see the reaction on reading that trackname though. But ye might stick on some Interpol... though I've always been more of a Turn on the Bright Lights man myself.

Wasn't sure if you were a fan of their older work or not but now I know that you're familiar with them then how about some Obstacle 1 or even PDA... : peace:

He clings to her to get any press he can, it's embarassing. It was an amusing interview. She's very confident, to the point of annoyance/slight rudeness, but I got over it. Helen Mirren wasn't offended (I assume, didn't watch her interview).

Helen Mirren wasn't offended (I assume, didn't watch her interview). Yeah, she wasn't offended in the slightest. She just said something about being jelous that she's unable to "hit a note, like her". -- I keep hearing "Shake it" every-fucking-where, and it's incredibly rage inducing.
Paj! Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 I keep hearing "Shake it" every-fucking-where, and it's incredibly rage inducing. It's shite. Thought I'd add that. One of the worst songs to be successful this year. --- I bum this song because it reminds me of/references the book of the same name.

Daft Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 Sébastien Tellier - 'La Ritournelle' No other song is necessary.
Ganepark32 Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 Bought Shallow Life by Lacuna Coil earlier. Listening to it now and it's awesome. I Like It is definitely my favourite track so far. First Lacuna Coil album I've bought (mostly listened to their other stuff on Youtube or on their website) and I have to say it was definitely worth it. Also got The Dream by In This Moment but I've given that to my brother to listen to for now. I'll put that through its paces later on. But really, it'll be quite late before I listen to that because I'm really liking Shallow Life.
Slaggis Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 Lady Gaga - Paparazzi Acoustic (Aka, like Pokerface Acoustic) She needs an album like this. -- Does anyone know when the Waking Up In Vegas video is supposed to be out? I heard the 24th...but nothing.
