Posted October 8, 2008 I guess I might be the only one who got the new Oasis album? I like it, it's a little slow and very beatlely... Liams song "im outta time" is superb. But yet again it seems to be lacking something..... Going to see them next thursday, CANNOT WAIT as it's been a while since my last Oasis gig. I got it and am also going to see them on the 1st of Nov. It's not bad. Problem for me is it's either really good or really shit in places, Not a patch on Don't Believe The Truth in my opinion. Posted October 10, 2008 Hey Jude came on whilst I was in the pub, and sometimes I sing this song when I'm in the shower, except I replace the words "Hey Jude" With peoples names, so I did this whilst I was in the pub and it sounded pretty bad because I'm not a great singer, but a few of my friends joined in with me, although I think they were just doing it to humour me. Computerised everything, but with the classic breathy voice and over-done beats. It may sound terrible on paper, but it just works. Obviously, she doesn't have a hand in writing many of her songs (On Blackout she co-wrote "Freakshow" and "Ooh Ooh Baby"), she's not the worlds best singer but tbh does that actually matter? She can sing, she can dance amazingly well, and she always puts on a great show (This is ignoring the abysmal VMA performance). That's what she is, she's an entertainer tbh. You don't go to a show of hers to see her stand there and sing, you go to watch the show that is Britney. I'm probably making no sense to you, but I think I'll cope.
