As nice as the classic controller is, I think it was a little odd for Nintendo to shape it the way they did without GC/sixaxis style hand grips.

That glowing stand is heavenly. Are all of these Nintendo products or just from a 3rd party?

The classic controller grip says Nyko on it, not sure about the others though.

The problem with 3rd party stuff is that it seems to want to fill a gap that isn't really there. No-one thought 'i need a stand with lights in', but they make them anyway. Plus, they always break. I'm still upset about that 3rd party N64 controller i bough that broke within 2 days.

part of the problem is it's gonna take awhile before third parties come up with wiimotes of their owns (apart from that dildo looking one!), so they are making all these other wacky contraptions so they can still make money out of Wii owners.

The upside is that 3rd party stuff is usually cheaper than the original stuff. You'll be hardpressed to find a 3rd party controller more expensive than the official controller.

Third parties also make changes that the original companies wouldn't dare to change. Such as altering the shape of a controller, button placement, stick types, that sorta thing. They also create stuff that Nintendo etc can't be bothered to make, novelty stuff.

I'm just a fussy Ba***** though, i like all my stuff nice and official. Oh well, as long as you're happy, i don't mind really. I just have this weird hatred of 3rd party stuff.

I agree mostly with what you're saying, it's usually better to have the nice official stuff.

Although, I did own some lovely third party memory cards for the Gamecube. My Mum was out shopping the one day and came back with about 4 or 5 memory cards, all brand new and sealed, third party, and they cost about a quid or two each. I looked at her and thought "what have you just wasted your money on?!"

This was about 2 years ago, and they still work to this day. Haven't had a single problem with them. They store a stupid amount of blocks each, which is great because the official Nintendo ones weren't overly amazing, and were quite expensive.

On the downside, I did have an N64 third party pad, and it played what can only be described as cancer. :heh:

I got a 3rd party NES controlller which broke at least 3 times and I had to take it back each time.

Your luckier than I was then. Had about 6 different third party memory cards for my cube and all of them at one point or another became corrupt and lost all the saves.

I was gonna post a thread about the about the classic controller grips, but I couldn't be bothered.:heh:

I REALLY don't get why Nintendo didn't make the Classic Controller more like the controller+grips anyway.
