Rummy Posted February 20, 2007 Share Posted February 20, 2007 With instructions from my mother, I actually just mixed up and cooked my own pancakes, they aren't half bad, though they look weird cos she told me to use the demerara sugar in them so I did, but they taste quite good, if you overlook the fact some are a bit overcooked(oops). Pretty decent though, I have had a couple already with my chocolate sauce, gonna have another soon with some maple syrup! Though I don't actually cook them in a pan, we have this weird sort of flat piece of metal which is pretty good for doing pancakes, but you can't flip them like you could in a pan, but still they work out pretty well! My mate played the role of chef, and he made the majority of the pancakes whilst the rest of us hovered over him in the kitchen or watched tv.
