Whizkid Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 I’ve just got a pack from the shop thinking what would it be like because Cadbury made it would it be good or bad I had a piece on the way home and it was lovely but I’ve only tried vanilla and mint im going to get the other flavors on my way to school tomorrow
Tellyn Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 My mum got some through at work a couple of weeks ago when they just came out. Very nice! I like the Vanilla and Mint flavour, as the chewability and taste increases as you chew, and the Strawberry and Lime is just lovely. Though I fail to taste the lime... Gonna go get another one.
Dyson Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 I love the Strawberry and Lime stuff, it's fantastic. Not like other chewing gum that loses it's flavour in 5 minutes. I've yet to try the (normal) mint stuff though. Vanilla and Mint is rather tasty. The Trident Soft pack design is great too :P Still, I can't believe the advertising at shops, putting signs outside. Quite a big act by Cadbury. Did you hear they were getting sued or something?
arab_freak Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 I had no idea Cadbury made them. Over here we only have 3 flavors: strawberry, spearmint, and mint. The strawberry is fantastic, and the flavor certainly lasts longer than any gum I've had. The other two flavors are okay, but not extraordinary. I love how they give a weird tingling feeling in your tongue.
Tellyn Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Cadbury's first chewing gum isn't it? I've got some of the strawberry stuff right now, it's very tasty.

Strider Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 I've never heard of the stuff, next time i go out shopping ill make an extra effort to look for it.
Whizkid Posted February 6, 2007 Author Posted February 6, 2007 I've never heard of the stuff, next time i go out shopping ill make an extra effort to look for it. So you should its very tasty
MoogleViper Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 It's not that nice. I have a pack of the vanilla and mint right beside me.
KingOfHyrule Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Is it sugar free? I don't like sugary chewing gums that coat your teeth and make them go all...texturised or something. Ugh! These sound nice though.
Twozzok Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Yeah, these have become something of a mini craze at our school. Not tried 'em myself.
ipaul Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 All chewing gum is annoying, unneccessary and loses taste after five minutes. Mints own chewing gum
The3rdChildren Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Looks like I'm gonna need to buy some of this.
Dyson Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Is it sugar free? I don't like sugary chewing gums that coat your teeth and make them go all...texturised or something. Ugh! These sound nice though. Yes, sugar free. Two types of the stuff, Soft and Juicy. Soft is normal and Juicy has a tiny amount of liquid inside the piece of gum that gives it uber flavour.
Twozzok Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 So it's like Bubbaloo without the loss of taste after 20 seconds?
AshMat Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 I might see if i can pick some up from somewhere..
Dyson Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 So it's like Bubbaloo without the loss of taste after 20 seconds? Yes, basically.
MoogleViper Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 I'm chewing a piece of the Vanilla and Mint Splash one. The vanilla flavour just tastes too artificial.
Letty Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 Ive never seen/heard of it. Maybe due to the lack of shops.
arab_freak Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 I bought a cinnamon flavored pack today, and noticed that the logo on it was Adams (the same people who make Chiclets gum), with no sign of the Cadbury logo. I think it has to do with the fact that KitKat bars are sold under the Nestle trademark, while being sold in America with the same name but under the Hershey trademark.

AshMat Posted February 10, 2007 Posted February 10, 2007 I found a corner shop up the road with them in, just spotted it from the corner of my eye walking past. The strawberry and lime is great, they had the vanilla and mint in too so im trying that when i walk up to where my mum is in 15 mins.
Eenuh Posted February 10, 2007 Posted February 10, 2007 Stimorol has been selling this kind of gum here for a while now already. I think there's three kinds of flavours, but my favourite is the Vanilla with the mint inside (liquid stuff). And Stimorol seems to be a Cadbury thing apparently. Wonder why you guys are only getting it now?
Caris Posted February 10, 2007 Posted February 10, 2007 I have the starwberry and lime right next to me, i will try it after i have finished this king size Snickers. edit: It's nothing to shout home about...
