T-Bird Posted July 12, 2007 Posted July 12, 2007 I love that I opted going for the USA Wii now. Great investment, cheaper games and I get them sooner. That's what I always said and I stuck by it. Can we get a USA release list too (or at least in brackets the USA date).

People are welcome to post US / JPN dates in this thread, but the first post will continue to be for European dates only I’m afraid.
RedShell Posted July 12, 2007 Author Posted July 12, 2007 Damn, gotta go find 'em myself now. :pI get the feeling it'll be more than worth all that hard work once you're playing those great games before NoE have even heard of them.

RedShell Posted July 12, 2007 Author Posted July 12, 2007 Your 100% right! : peace:Have you got a US console now Owen? I'm thinking I might look in to getting one soon, NoE's scheduling is really starting to piss me off. Not just because of the delays, but how they keep releasing games too close to one another and with DS games.
Teppo Holmqvist Posted July 13, 2007 Posted July 13, 2007 I'm thinking I might look in to getting one soon, NoE's scheduling is really starting to piss me off. I'm having currently 14 Wii games on my christmas shopping list, so I'm not worried by little delays*. But I agree that goddamn this is going to be expensive season, and I haven't even checked what PC-games I want. Or VC games, for that matter. * When this year is over, NoE has released all 1st party Wii titles with only exceptions being FE and Smash. You couldn't even dream of this during SNES, N64 or Cube era. Easily greatest first year that Nintendo has ever had. Your 100% right! : peace: [FRIENDLY POKE]Of course this won't mean that you would stop complaining. [/FRIENDLY POKE]

I mean we've already seen 3 1st party games before the US (the same amount we had during the whole of the GCN's lifespan) and on average it's taking much less time for games to be released than in previous years. But like I said before, it's not so much the delays that bother me but the way they keep cramming releases together. For example, Super Paper Mario and Tingle's Rupeeland both come out on the same day, and there's only a week between Zelda: Phantom Hourglass and Metroid Prime 3. I hate it when they do that with such big games! It's acceptable for a hardware launch but at any other time I find it incredibly annoying.
Owen Posted July 13, 2007 Posted July 13, 2007 [FRIENDLY POKE]Of course this won't mean that you would stop complaining. [/FRIENDLY POKE] I always complain, thats me. Redshell, yes i have but only because my friend finally let me have his for a very reasonable price! : peace: I'm only buying 3 games for it though, i'm waiting for the UK release on all third-party games and some first-party ones, I don't want shed-loads of imported games anymore.
Gaijin von Snikbah Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 No mean to disrespect the hamster lovers. But do we really need to know the release date of Hamsterz?
Ashley Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 You can't go qualifying the necessity of any release. Its easier to just list them all rather than trying to decide what is important and what isn't.
Teppo Holmqvist Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 But do we really need to know the release date of Hamsterz? Yes we do. Now shut up.

King of Clubs is due out in September, and 8 Ball All Stars is "on hold" for the Wii. I wonder how accurate the rest are... edit: More dates * Tony Hawk's Proving Ground - 12th October 2007 * Spider-Man: Friend or Foe - 12th October 2007 * Thrillville: Off the Rails - 19th October 2007 * Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga - 9th November 2007 * Bee Movie Game - 16th November 2007 * Barbie Island Princess - 23rd November 2007 * Pimp My Ride - 23rd November 2007 * Puppy Luv - 23rd November 2007 * Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock - November 2007
Mike Posted July 25, 2007 Posted July 25, 2007 Mario Party 8 is 'officially' out again on 3rd August, according to the NOE site.
seanraaron Posted August 2, 2007 Posted August 2, 2007 When is the Williams Pinball Collection supposed to come out? Amazon.co.uk has something called Gottlieb vs Williams on their site, but I have no idea what that is...same game?
Owen Posted August 3, 2007 Posted August 3, 2007 Dewys Adventure: Nov 23rdMySims: Sept 20th My Sims for me! May give Dewy a miss due to the HUGE amount of games in November.
Mr.X Posted August 9, 2007 Posted August 9, 2007 I noticed in TBD, that Zach & Wiki: Quest for Barboras Treasure is listed as Treasure Island Z
RedShell Posted August 9, 2007 Author Posted August 9, 2007 I noticed in TBD, that Zach & Wiki: Quest for Barboras Treasure is listed as Treasure Island ZCheers, fixed that now.
seanraaron Posted August 10, 2007 Posted August 10, 2007 Williams_Pinball_Collection...is there no further information? Also what's the official name of it here? I've seen it referred to as both Williams Pinball Collection and Williams vs. Gottlieb, but that makes little sense since I don't believe there's any Gottlieb tables on it. This is the most important release in my mind; I'm sure I'm in the minority, but anyone know anything about System 3's release schedule?
Dyson Posted August 13, 2007 Posted August 13, 2007 * Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock - November 2007 Oooh..source?

Slaggis Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 We'll definitly get rayman rabbids 2 this year. Same goes for galaxy. (We will I tells you!)
Owen Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 Metroid and Galaxy will make Europe this year, i'm quite sure, although theres always a little niggle in the back of my mind about Galaxy. Although, i think the Europeans will be totally pissed-off if they delayed that here as well, so they daren't. Galaxy will arrive end of November/December though, not any earlier. I forgot about the new trauma centre!
