Ramar
Someone who has a Samsung television (ie The3rdChildren or people who have similar tvs to his) tell me if its HD, screen size, price and model number. I'm on the hunt for a nice (cheapish) samsung hd tv for my room. I have a pic of my Wii setup but its on my old (rather unhoovered) living room carpet which is being replaced tomorrow. So I might take another picture tomorrow and do a before and after.

Darv
Does anyone not have theirs in the stand? I've got mine laying horizontal because it was the only way it would fit. It doesn't look as striking but it still looks cool. Will get pictures later.

Mine looks gorgeous in its stand. However I have notcied that the flap for the cube controlelr is bent slightly... or its just me looking for imperfections as its perfect. I havnt even wanted to put it horizontal yet, it looks cool in the stand Sorry about bad quality (used my phone) The gamecube has been relegated to the shadows.... http://i75.photobucket.com/albums/i304/conzer16/DSC00058.jpg Where'd you get that mouse mat and book !!! Darth-Marximus
Zero to Hero! So in contuinuation of my story from the "PreOrder Woes thread" Follishly not pre-ordering I took my chances scouring shops like a game loving curb crawler. Yes readers it was a long, bitter trek from 24hr ASDA to 24hr Tesco's on launch day eve. Alas like many - I was not to triumph. Returning from my quest I was beaten...but not broken! Searching my usual treasure trove of forums I came across the news that Amazon were having a last minute re-stocking of the Wii. Thats right from 3pm - 4pm on launch day there was gonna be a window of chance for me.... me and the rest of the United Kingdom that is! Thank Bill Gates for the F5 key! Yes, thank god for Bill Gates (his F5 key) and the 1-Click Ordering process of Amazon. I bagged a Wii and for cheaper than the typical retail price (thanks to some Amazon gift voucherage - yeah stick that ASDA & Tesco!) I ordered it on Fri 8th Dec for £176.98 Amazon gave my Wii an est delivery 12-13th Dec. It came today at approx 11:45am I've now coerced my D-Link GT604 router config to allowing Wii WiFi access (set to channel 10 rather than default of 6 btw). I have patched to Version 2.0 firmware..it runs no probs.... no slow overly slow patching no weird disc loading or rejection problems no error messages Again I reiterate the message - "For everyone else still in Wii limbo - I feel your pain.....I suggest absorbing some of it by watching Wii vids on YouTube...it worked for me.." now for some proof of concept: And that folks is how I went from Zero to Hero.
