To be honest something like that makes perfect sense because it ensure that the games released on the latest holiday season don't get chosen simply because they're so fresh in the public's mind.

What surprises me is the people on the HD "side" (I'll call it that just to simplify) only now reached this conclusion. Yes, Nintendo games arrive 2 or 3 times a year and they are generally of great quality, its been like this since forever.

Maybe its because I've played FPS's on PC all my life and since it was a gradual process I never noticed a difference. But the only time I felt slightly challenged by enemy "intelligence" was in F.E.A.R.. Don't know about Killzone 2, but from what I've read and heard they don't offer much of a challenge either. But anyway, people aren't playing Halo3 for its A.I., they're playing it online, and that to me looks little more than Quake3.

HMV, hopefully they'll send it outside the UK.

The point I was making about graphics is that most next gen game don't are almost identical do they're prequels only with added polygons, if Halo3 looked like Halo1 it would be the same game, God of War's 3 gameplay seems doable on a PS2, and if it weren't for its gorgeous graphics no one would give a shit (i.e. Twilight Princess). Sure some games do take some next gen advantage like LBP and other more physics oriented games, but AI isn't really that different from what it used to be. And that point Daft made about Madworld being possibly better on HD consoles, well, graphically yeah! But the game uses motion sensing to add more immersion to the game and anyone that has played NMH can tell you that finishing combos with a motion is infinitely better than a simple button press. A version of it in the HD the consoles would be a gimped version. Another example will be the Ghost Busters where the Wii version appears to be better than its HD counterpart due to its input method and how that helps the game overall.

If you like the games on 360 most of them are also on PC. Nintendo has ALWAYS been like this, the only difference is that the graphics on HD consoles allow for a more easy hype.

I love you flinky and I do have a Wii. The problem is that people don't admit they're graphic whores and buy other consoles just for that.

You have freaking punch that's coming in MAY! That's a month and a half from now and it was announced in October! That's one high profile game that no giving credit because there wasn't enough time to hype, which is basically what the hardcore media e game live for.

Why are you blaming Nintendo? How many of the awesome games in the other consoles are inhouse development? Nintendo is not the problem here, its the same shit ass support the devs give it like they always did.

Yeah me too. We're still buying a Nintendo console to play Nintendo games, and devs still shit on Nintendo. The only difference now is that Nintendo went from most hardcore brand to most casual in the eyes of the media idiots and comment trolls.

I don't think you realise how much of a good price it still is. Sure they're being greedy but a 180£ only made sense when 1£=2$. A 200£ Wii over here would make people run to the stores.

Only recently did I notice how absurdly CHEAP games and consoles are in the UK. When the pound reaches parity with the Euro, we'll be effectively paying more 70£ than you guys for a console. Many games are 30£ which equals approximately to 30€, the average price here is 50€.

I don't think that's the best way to introduce the game to the west. I know I won't be paying for it, and since this game is only good online, I'm no longer interested.
