I'm actually not sure what the coverage is here. I'm hoping we at least have the BBC commentary though. Not sure I want to sit through a load of yanks talking about it. Might have to stream the radio coverage to listen to while watching the TV. I'm really getting excited now, been watching the build up clips on BBC this morning, should be a great season opening.

That's just totally blown my mind. Our clocks went forward this weekend so I had assumed they did there too. No wonder everything has seemed a bit weird today.

I think the risk is still there but it's not like any of them are going to go into total meltdown. It seems like general translation inaccuracies have made it sound a lot worse than the real situation. Also because of the potential of situations like this the threat level is raised very early to be as safe as possible. I have a lot of colleagues/friends in Japan and thankfully it looks like all of them are ok. I know the guys in our Tokyo office had to spend the night at work due to transport failures. Crazy times.

Charging during the 2nd half of the season?

I'm not so sure about that, pretty much everyone that talks about the McLaren seems to be saying how much of a pig it looks to drive. Hopefully they will be right at the back so we aren't punished by having to look at that car on TV.

Not bad at all compared to some of the stuff in here. But my car sold today I'm actually really upset, I'm going to miss that little beast so much..

I've been having utterly terrible oven/microwave meals since I got to America, I don't mind them every so often but it's really gotten ridiculous. But today I have finally turned the corner. I have a big pot of Chile on the stove - the first thing I've cooked from scratch in about 4 months - and it's smelling delicious. I'm so excited about eating it. Best of all I reckon theres about 4 portions, so I have good food for a while. I'm going to get into the habit of cooking again. Can't beat great home cooked food.

And of course the useful life of these products is much longer than that. Luckily you aren't forced to buy every years upgrade.

Good day at work, told my boss a few things that had been on my mind, and though he was unresponsive to my issues he absolutely knew that he was in the wrong. Given the kind of guy he is it's nice to see him squirm and try to justify himself. I also found out that a lunch I have next week with our EVP is so that he can offer me a new job. If it's what I think then I'm not really that interested (unless it's $$$$$) it's nice to be wanted though. And now... house party followed by a night out in a cool part of SF, I know some cool people will be there so should be good times.

I did that a little while back and I'm glad I did. I reckon I dropped from around 300 to maybe 140. Based it off if I saw the person out would I talk to them? So many people I really didn't care about on there, and who nowadays I would have absolutely nothing in common with. Now my newsfeed isn't as clogged and I (mostly) only see stuff I'm actually interested in reading.

Well my first generation iPad is up for sale and I guess I'll be queueing up for the new one next week. I can't wait!

You are, of course, completely right. But I just can't help the lust. I have to have a white one with a baby blue case and I have to have it next week. On the case I think it's fine, mine is used outside of a case and before then I even had it loose in my bag, never got any marks on the front or back. Also the standing options are the same two as the previous case as far as I can tell.

I'd definitely say it's more 1.5 than 2. Certainly for me it's not worth upgrading, but I am anyway. Will sell the current one and it should only be a few hundred dollars for me to upgrade. Anyone interested in my old one?

Though by a lot of the recent rumours more of an iPad 1.5, I'm hoping not though, I have the urging for an upgrade but fear it won't be worth it.

My only real thought is that NI must be considered some sort of 'danger zone' and the premiums reflect that. The £8,000 (Why do American keyboards not have a pound sign?), isn't too far off some of the quotes I got. I had to do a lot of phoning around to get it into my affordable range.
