Awesome idea - especially if online! - but will never happen. Why? God knows.

And it comes with a head set too. Wired probably.

The N-Europe results hyper archive sensation 2007
Dilli Gee replied to Dan_Dare's topic in General Chit Chat
My course doesn't do "results" (it's not even at a real uni), and we just return in October. -
The knob-ends at Pixar are stopping the direct-to-video sequels. Whilst a fair few are crap, some have been awesome! Lion King 2 (which technically made more money than the original), the Aladdin ones, Pocahontas II, Mulan II. The recent Cinderella film was good too. The Little Mermaid 3 is going to be the "last" one (I doubt it though, because its the DTV department that have kept Disney alive the past decade).

Big announcement tomorrow, in regards to Martha Jones/Freema Agyeman and the major guest star in the Christmas special (Kylie Minogue). My bet is the rumours about on/off DW appearances and the move to Torchwood are true. There's nothing particularly wrong about the character or actress.

This show - which isn't new and has been officially denounced by the Palestinian government - broadcasts to children who live in the Gaza strip. So I'm certain most of the children who watch this show have already been "screwed" over by Israel, and their own civil conflicts. And for your information, it's not broadcast on a terrestrial network, it airs on a militant-funded network. The parents who tune their TVs to receive this channel are mostly militants themselves. That doesn't make it any better (I personally find this disgusting), but I would do some research on what the Israeli zealots feed their soldiers.

Gordon Brown couldn't care less.

TF > MMPR anyday. And actually, whilst US ratings aren't as high as MMPR was back in the 90's (it peaked 14 million an episode in the old days, now it peaks at max. 8 million per episode), it's globally more popular than ever. N-E posted some new screens of the upcoming game: http://www.n-europe.com/news.php?nid=10709

The UK has some of the most relaxed laws on violence in the Western world. Your comment holds little water. The reason why the US has less banned films is because the MPAA rate films whilst they're in production, and things are cut out during the editing phase. That's why you get so many "unrated" DVDs in the USA - normal releases are MPAA edits, and the unrated ones are the "original".

They cut/ban stuff that promotes severe illegal activity positively. It's as simple as that. Remember Manhunt 2 is the only game currently banned in UK history. It is bad. End of.

Funny stuff.

Yeah, the proper story ends "In Space". But bits and bobs reappear throughout the other seasons. Examples: Forever Red. Tommy comes back for Dino Thunder, and there's a special fan-episode with the past Ranger suits. Rita has a "cameo" in the Mystic Force finale. Operation Overdrive has a killer fan-ep coming up. The best season of Power Rangers however is Time Force. That's one season worth tracking down and watching in its entirety. It's the first to have a Pink Ranger leader too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k89BPwhQcvQ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ah8RBIs-arI http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NqfmnrvwF_8

General news: Season 16 (Jungle Fury) has been officially announced for release Spring 2008 - and it may be the first season to be shot in high definition, as Toon Disney (the channel the show airs on in the USA) is changing to HD next spring. The source action footage ("Gekiranger") is HD native as well, so there are no adaptation issues. And here's the logo: Also, the first Power Rangers Morphicon was generally a success. A lot of past cast came, as well as current ones, but attendance was low. DVD news: Season 1 has been released in Europe; you need to import it from Germany, but it's in English and region-free. Try Amazon.de if you're interested. Season 2 comes out September 21 2007. The current season (Season 15: Operation Overdrive) is being released in North America throughout the year in volumes (five volumes that make up the complete season). The first two volumes come out in September in Region 1, so expect them around Christmas here in the UK (along with all the other Overdrive merchandise). The fourth volume of Operation Overdrive will include the 15th Anniversary special, Once A Ranger, that re-unites past rangers in a face-off against Rita (last seen in Mystic Force) and Lord Zedd's son. Mystic Force is currently being released monthly here in the UK. You can find Volumes 1 to 3 at most DVD shops, Volume 4 is next month and Vol 5 probably August/September. Other news: There's a bunch of 15th Anniversary and Operation Overdrive merchandise coming out this year: GAME: Power Rangers: Super Legends will be out in November, and is a celebratory game based on all 15 seasons of Power Rangers. It's for Nintendo DS, PS2 and PC. TOYS: Anniversary products come out in August in the USA, with toys sets featuring all 15 different Red Rangers (Morphin, Alien, Zeo, Turbo, Space, Galaxy, Lightspeed, Time, Quantum, Wild, Ninja, Dino, SPD, Mystic and Overdrive). These will probably come out here in the UK alongside the normal Overdrive toys in the Winter, but don't be surprised if they're a Toys R Us exclusive or something.

Are the Xbox 360 / Playstation 3 holding the industry back?

Guitar Hero is on the Xbox 360 though... -
Are the Xbox 360 / Playstation 3 holding the industry back?
Dilli Gee replied to jammy2211's topic in Nintendo Gaming
If anything, it's the Wii that's holding the industry back. It's encouraging ports like no tomorrow, with little effort. -
lol, they should have waited for the censors/TPTB to rate the game before printing thousands of copies of the game.
-
Well it's: - Halo 3 Collector's Edition (£45-£50) - Halo 3 Legendary Edition DVD (with remastered HD cinematics of the entire Halo Trilogy, presented as a film) - Storyboard Art Set - Spartan Helmet For £70, that's worth it. [Although I paid £65.]
-
No where. It's unlikely the game will come out anywhere.
-
It's the video game equivalent to porn. It's that strong a rating. Any how, Nsiders were right. Nintendo has refused Take Two their Wii license.
-
I wouldn't count on the game being released on Wii, at all, anywhere in the world. I just read on Nsider that Nintendo will apparently announce in a few days that they have refused Take Two their license to release the game on the Wii.
-
Well I pre-ordered the Legendary Edition today. Anyone else done so?

The BBFC would have had a board room meeting before banning this. It's a major decision, as only 1 game has ever been banned before (although Carmageddon had its ban lifted). So Manhunt 2 is the only video game in current BBFC history to have a ban on it. It must be bad. EDIT: It is the only game to be rejected - http://www.bbfc.co.uk/website/Classified.nsf/SearchClassifiedWorks/?SearchView&Query=(%20[DateReject]%20%3E=%2001/01/1900)%20%20and%20(%20[DateReject]%20%3C=%2020/06/2007)%20and%20((%20[TypeOfMedia]%20contains%20DigitalMedia))&SearchMax=50
