Another one for Taiwan. Arse is Pee Goo in Chinese, or PP as a cute child friendly name. GG and PP fill the ears of children in class all the time, [emoji23].

I'll give out a little clue later this weekend to help you all along, if no-one gets straight off.

Just a call out to all those that want to play through Kirby's Dream Land 3 and want to get a name check in the N-E Cafe Podcast. We'll be recording the PodPals episode this coming Tuesday evening, 3rd of March, so you've got until then to get your thoughts down here in this thread. Hope you've enjoyed what you've been playing.
-
Lucky I haven’t bought Doom 3 yet then. If you’ve played Kirby’s Dream Land 3 anytime in your life, you count. Did you write your thoughts down somewhere on the forum? I’ll use it. No clues for a Transition Tunes yet.

N-E Café [016] Do You Like It Big or Small? is now available. The 16th N-E Café Podcast has Lee Davies, Gregory Moffett and Nick Lone: discussing the recent Nintendo News, including their thoughts of the Animal Crossing Direct; games they’ve been playing, featuring Wargroove: Double Trouble DLC, Yoshi’s Crafted World and a little more on Mario Maker 2; and this week’s Listener Question, TV or Handheld Play. Thanks Sam. This is episode 16 of the N-E Café Podcast, an N-Europe Podcast. Enjoy!

Not without a schoolboy chuckle, as well.

Unfortunately named project for Taiwan. Chicken is pronounced Gee. And 2 together, GG, is a childish name for the penis, or Shoa Gee, or little Chicken. Project Penis, nice. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I’d be up for a game of Wargroove Vs, and the wonderful thing is that you can play it asynchronous, like a game of chess over a longer period of time. Just finished the Double Trouble DLC, and will be talking about it during the N-E Café Podcast this week. Also, Kirby was a real slog for me, too.

If anyone has been enjoying Hypercharge: Unboxed as much as me, you'll be delighted to know the first of their much vaunted updates will arrive at the end of February, but may be as late as early March. It'll include a new Offline Local PvP Party Modes: "Spinner Arena" and "Tank Battle", an extra interactive Tutorial with Sergeant Max Ammo, two new character classes, stats tracking, and much more. Can't wait, haven't put the game down yet.

Nintendo tweeting Splatoon stuff again, hmm.

It’s such a nice inclusion, and while it’s a bit sporadic on the release times of new games to that service, Europe and US could only benefit from this, which makes it more baffling that it isn’t happening. I bet there are smaller indie developers who have sizeable games that would clamber at the opportunity to be part of this scheme just for the amount of screen time and possible sales afterwards. Big error, misspoke. When I listened back I was amazed I said 29 quid, it’s actually 39 quid. I really thought I said 39, [emoji38]. Still, I know both games are really cheap on Steam, etc., but I do want to support the developers, and these look to be my type of game, what with Doom Eternal being delayed on Switch, and AC Direct being a little disappointing, this has entered the shopping basket of my favourite online retailer.

I forgot to mention at the end of the podcast, that I think we’ll see some Paid DLC for Mario Maker 2.

Funnily enough, any future lists of best of the year, I’ve already devised a list of awards ceremony style categories, instead of going with Top 10s. So, look forward to that next year, [emoji23]

All good points there HOT. But, 120 I don't know the total of games I played last year, but this year I'm starting to number the games I've finished and I'm up to 12 so far. That reminds me, I need to update the Gaming Diary.

Thanks again to @Vileplume2000 for putting our podcast show up at our Youtube Channel.

We’re going to hold a predictions Podcast this week, for the inevitable Direct happening this month, or March, or whenever. So, thought I’d ask all of you listeners what your one major prediction would be. Just keep it to one though, and you can make it as outlandish as you want. I’ll mention them all on the podcast and get everyone’s reactions to your Nintendo gaming desires.

Super Mario Maker 2 challenge - June challenge has started!
Londragon replied to Sméagol's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Played all 3, finished one. I’m not a great 2D Mario player, so difficult or convoluted levels put me off. If I’m dying 20-30 times I’m not having fun. With that; D-Cubed - Bangin’ Doughnuts! The way the first bobombs you have to wall jump to dodge it upon using the door what a nightmare. Some really inventive puzzles, but just too fiddly for me to enjoy. Repeating the same puzzle over and over is one of the reasons I don’t play MM much. The falling blocks jump to get to the checkpoint finished me. That’s a criticism of my skill and patience though. Didn’t finish the level because it was too hard, and frustrating to go back through the whole thing again, to yet die at the same falling block point. I can see how to do it, just don’t want to repeat the whole level before it 10 times to get the timing down. Gleni - Spooky Explosive Donuts Short , sharp and sweet. Not too difficult, but enough challenge. Bobombs everywhere. Great fun passing the controller back and forth after one death, to see who could finish it first. Sméagol - Our Donut Is Not a Hole Unclear level progression from the outset, way too many fiddly jumps. You get to the extreme right in the opening section, and nothing, so I have to double back, forget it. Oh, drop bobombs down a hole, no, yes. Didn’t finish level because I don’t know where to go, my son rage quit this one, he was furious. [emoji23] So my winner was; Gleni Close though with DCubed, very inventive. My son’s winner was; Gleni Sorry Sméagol I can’t bold the winner’s name on Tapatalk. [emoji2371] -
Will try these out with my son tomorrow morning. [emoji41]

And it's really good news to finally hear that microtransactions won't be taking place. But once again this isn't coming from Nintendo, but from ratings boards.

Picked up Unravel 2 on the Switch, and it really is a well-thought out, and beautifully aesthetic looking game. The little background nods to a child's adventure happening at prescribed locations adds to the charm and danger.

Nice one @RedShell. I'll be looking to download that next time I fire up Smash. -

That Tingle stage is absolute madness, it's all going off on it, all the time. Who made that? kudos to the creator. -
