'N-E Café [004] The Art of Balance' is here. Just follow the link to SoundCloud, or choose your Podcast Provider of choice in the opening post. Sit back, relax, the coffee's on us.

Fourth Podcast has been recorded, felt good this week, too. We metion the PodPals Community game that was chosen, and the winner was, by one vote, Demon's Crest. We'll be recording the PodPals podcast episode during the last week of December, no final dates yet. So, instead of 2 Podcasts recorded on the 24th and 31st December, we'll be doing one in the middle of it all, and it'll include the usual news section, etc., but also the PodPals section where we'll all talk about the game and quote all who have anything to say about it too. So, hopefully it won't be just Me, Greg and Nick playing by our lonesomes, but a few other viewpoints would be much appreciated and make for better listening too. Thanks.

Thanks. Apart from my bullshit about MegaMan at the beginning. I’ll be giving an apology next week, [emoji23].

The SoundCloud link to the third episode of N-E Café is here. N-E Café [003] Metroid Prime Trilogy HD (2020). That's right Metroid Trilogy is coming next year. You heard it here first.

We announced on the third podcast that Blue Sunset Games has provided us with a free European copy of their Switch eShop game Assault on Metaltron, a tower defence game in which the player takes control of a golem/robot that is charged with defending Metaltron from the legions of humans and orcs that seek to conquer it! To be in with a chance of winning a European copy for yourself, you’ll have to Follow us on Twitter @necafe2, like & retweet the competition post, and tag a friend. Full details at our Twitter account. We’ll announce the winner on next week’s show. Good luck everybody! I should imagine the competition will be limited in scope, so there's a very good chance of winning if you enter. @Vileplume2000 When you post the Podcast on the main site (when it's up that is), could you give a mention to Blue Sunset Games and the competition within the post. Forever in your debt Dennis. We'll be in touch with other small indie companies to see if we can make this a more frequent venture. Tweet is here; https://twitter.com/NECafe2/status/1196959022038966273

Getting ready for the third N-E Cafe Podcast, and just a quick shoutout to all for Listener Questions, PodPals votes, and to keep tuned this week as we'll be sharing information on our very first Game Giveaway. More details later.

Greg has created a YouTube version of the 2nd podcast and it’s up right now at the N-Europe page. http://

N-E Café [002] Nick’s Awakening is here. Lee, Greg and Nick discuss the latest Nintendo news, games we've recently been playing, introduce our PodPals game, and our Big Topic Smash DLC.Soundcloud:https://soundcloud.com/user-42…/n-e-cafe-002-nicks-awakeningFor other Podcast Providers see the opening post.

You'll hear on our newest Podcast, N-E Cafe [002] Nick's Awakening (coming soon), that we're are starting our community based gaming sessions, entitled PodPals. We get listeners to vote for one of 4 games, this time themed on the SNES, and the winner of that will, hopefully, be played by as many people as possible within a month, where we'll record a special PodPals episode devoting a Big Topic to the game, and any feedback from the community that needs to be addressed. We encourage you to vote and to send in feedback, either here, or at one of our social media sites. The 4 games are: Demon's Crest; Super Metroid; Super Mario World; and Breath of Fire. You can tell us here what you'd prefer to play, or we are running a poll on Twitter, right now. https://twitter.com/NECafe2/status/1194782412619665408?s=20 Can't wait to hear from you.

Updated the opening post with a bunch of extra podcast providers. And, it's taken nearly a week, but we are now on iOS, Apple Podcasts (iTunes). If there's a podcast service that you use, and is not currently on our list, give me a shout and I'll get onto it. Thanks. Oh, and any listener questions for future episodes?
-
Actually, we’d love a review on your Podcast Subscriber [emoji12], a like, etc. Can’t get enough of those. Especially positive ones.

“Guess the Transition Tune”. Between podcast segments you’ll hear a short piece of Nintendo based music. Tell us what game the music clip comes from, and bonus points for the name of the track. No correct guesses for the Transition Tunes yet, any takers?

Dennis. Thanks that write up was exceptional. Always find it hard to praise anything I’ve done, so thank you for the big and inspiring opening section. Beaming [emoji16].

NIck has been blinding in editing. And I've just posted the podcast up at SoundCloud. Find it at the opening post, or more specifically, here: Have a listen and see what you all think. Is it worth posting it up at the main site, if so I can send the file to one of the staff, @S.C.G, or someone else. N-Europe's Youtube channel. I'm starting to post to iTunes, etc, but that takes time.
-
So recording of the first podcast is now complete. I don’t want to blow my own trumpet, but, okay maybe I do want to blow my own trumpet, it all went smoothly and we think we sounded great. Within the next two days the podcast should be up on SoundCloud. I’ll give you a heads up when it is available and it should take the other podcast providers like iTunes, stitcher, Google Play about a week to verify and post it up at their sites. Excited to see what you all think. Feedback is wanted.
-
Thanks. We always want listener questions, so give the podcast a listen where we'll broach one of these, and a shoutout. Cheers.
-
New logo has been approved and is shining on the social media accounts. Recording our first podcast this coming week, so I’m making a last request for any listener questions you’d like us to chat about.
-
Just a heads up. Our first podcast recording is now scheduled for the 5th of November. A week later than planned, but I was pushing things, maybe a little too fast, and unforseen circumstances cropped up resulting in a little delay. Will keep you all posted.

I suppose during busy E3/Direct periods there would be an overlap of ideas and content, but for the majority of the time both podcasts seem to be cutting an individual identity. More content can surely only be a positive for the site and the forums. Give it time for both of them to find their feet and changing formulae as they move on, carving their own identity, I’m sure they won’t step on the others toes very much at all.
-
Cheers, that means a lot. Wanted to try a few podcasts at least, see what everyone thinks of it. Get some feedback, and make a good product that the site can be proud of. There is definitely room for two podcasts within the same site, especially as they are doing something different at heart. We’ll be a more traditional formula of news, what we’ve been playing and a big topic or question. Trying to keep it under an hour, best for me would be around the 45 minute mark, so a shorter form, but keeping to weekly at all costs.

We have created a trio of hosts, londragon,Nekunando, andNicktendo, and the hope is to produce a weekly podcast, called N-E Cafe, as a subsidiary program to the main website that produces a similar show to what we did previously for 41 episodes, plus bonuses, on the Nintendo Review Podcast. We were proud of the content we produced and are looking forward to do the same again with the N-Europe logo attached. Schedules have changed and our current recording times are on a Sunday, 9am UK time zone, with each podcast episode releasing on the Tuesday that follows. There will be weeks when one of us three won't be available, if anyone is interested in becoming a backup, post your interest. Time however, is important. I'm situated in Taiwan, Nick in Latvia and Greg in the UK. If there are any topics or general questions that you'd like to see us tackle, drop it here, or at one of the social media links. We'll answer them in the Listener Questions section. Feedback of any kind is much appreciated, as is a positive review, wink wink, and likes across all podcast providers which help with visibility. Congratulations England. Really a superb performance and a well won result. Let’s see if the Welsh boys can do the same to the Springboks tomorrow. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
